I should have taken that invitation. Raven thought, walking the streets back to their little home. This information fell right into her lap. By the next full moon the masquerade is going to take place. This means only pressure on time if she wants to take that opportunity and yet she is hesitant about it. That should be least of her concern at this moment, her main concern should be how they will execute the experimentation on her being to discover what lingers inside her and flows her blood. She needs to consult her crew, hear their thoughts on it. But she doesn't want the Crows to know. The simple thought of the experiment process gave her shivers. Though, she trusted Jordin and Adonis with her life, she can't help but fear it. Her past won't let her go. The time when the King and his Labrats experimented on her, she was left with just horrible memories. She snapped out of her thoughts and stared right before her.

Jesper is walking confidently the path leading to their hideout.

"You know the way up ahead huh?" Raven teased with a smirk.

Jesper swinged his whole body backwards to face her, dumbfounded, scratching the back of his head.

"I did visit Jordin one too many times maybe...catching up about events.."

"Riiiiight," Raven chuckled, "catching up about events." Raven laughed with a smirk and wiggled her eyebrows.

Jesper blinked at her, still walking backwards until he tilted his head at Raven, "Don't. Even." he warned. As if he already knew her wicked mind and the thoughts that occur. Unsurprisingly, most of the time her observations were right. No secret is safe from her but her secrets are thrown in a cell, locked up with the highest security fences behind those cold cat like eyes and a slight grin. Her face is unreadable. Jesper always thought it would take a genius to figure her out or be able to read her like a book, surely, he did not count among them. And still he witnessed her vulnerable moments, moments of weakness, moments of seeing lightning strike in her eyes when she looks through her eyebrows, tears forming but quickly vanishing or the clicking of tongue or popping jaw muscles, or the wide eyes of terror he had seen at the Fold.

Raven shrugged nonchalantly, "I didn't say anything but you clearly had something in mind." she smirked devilishly again. Jesper felt as if she had caught him off guard, to no surprise as she was really good at it. Still focused on her wicked grin and drifting in his thoughts for a moment, he was surprised when Raven pointed her finger behind him as he quickly turned back around.

"Oh...we are here.."

"No shit, genius."

"By the saints, that part of you hasn't changed a bit."

Raven blew him a kiss in a provoking manner as she swung the old wooden doors open and marched up the creaking wooden stairs. Jespers and Wylans footsteps followed right behind.

"Finally!" Jordin exclaimed, as she stood cross armed by the window. She was impatiently awaiting Raven, tapping her foot, waiting by the window until she recognized Ravens hooded figure coming along. She did not expect extra company, "What are they doing here?"

"Ah," Raven turned her upper body from facing Jesper and Wylan to Jordin as her arms swing along, "I told them they could be present, simply for precautions as it is Wylans lab." Raven admitted.

Jordin froze in thought a moment until she had realized it made sense. Even her as an Alkemi hated the fact of someone being in her lab without her permission. "Fair enough-"

Raven caught her and Jesper exchange quick glances as a barely visible smirk of amusement formed on her lips. "Adonis?"

"Present." Came the voice from another room.
