1/2"So, did we meet before or something? I feel like I would've remembered that."

Penny clung to the TARDIS console as the ship shook violently. When the Doctor had shown up in her tiny flat proudly showing off a ringing alarm clock Penny had initially frowned in confusion.
"You said to set an alarm." He reminded, giving the device a small shake.
Penny collected herself, having just gotten back from an interview at a research institute and still wearing her black suit pants and collared pink blouse, quickly re-tying the heavily debated bow in her hair. She brushed off the realization that he'd come to pick her up the first time of his own volition, and instead eagerly boarded the ship. The second surprise came in the familiar face of Donna Noble welcoming her aboard.
With a delighted shout, Penny couldn't help but embrace the other woman, and after brief assurances from the Doctor that Martha was alright, leaving of her own decision, the three of them were off.
Even as the time-machine rocked and swayed, Penny found herself with a massive grin on her face. It had been nearly a year since the last time she'd seen the Doctor, and as more time passed the more she realized just how much she missed these adventures.
With a low tone, the TARDIS came to a stop, the Doctor leaping away from the controls to grab his long coat. "Books! People never really stop loving books."
Exiting his ship with Penny and Donna close behind he stepped out onto lacquered wooden floors, high windows casting rays of sun down onto tall shelves of books that lined the entire room.
"51st century." He announced to his companions as he walked. "By now you've got holovids, direct-to-brain downloads, fiction-mist. But you need the smell. The smell of books, Donna, Penny. Deep breath."
Penny complied, letting the old musty fragrance of the building itself wash over her as they exited onto a walkway. Marble pillars supported intricate archways, and even the floor was adorned with warm toned, painted details.
"So, where are we?" She questioned, as they continued further into the building.
"The Library." The Doctor answered. "So big it doesn't need a name, just a great, big 'the'."
"It's like a city!" Donna exclaimed in wonder.
"It's a world, literally, a world. The whole core of the planet is the index computer, biggest hard drive ever." He excitedly gestured through his explanation. "And up here, every book ever written. Whole continents of Jeffrey Archer, Bridget Jones, Monty Python's Big Red Book. Brand new editions, specially printed."
