Taehyung's POV:

Entering the library, I scanned the whole place but the girl I had noticed earlier wasn't there. Where had she gone?

I approached the librarian who was engrossed in her own book. She peered at me through her glasses when I interrupted her. She nervously leaned back in her chair; oh, I guess she still remembers I was the one who put a cockroach inside her purse.

"Excuse me, have you seen the girl who was sitting there?" I gestured towards the corner seat near the window.

With a calm nod she replied, "Yeah, she just went out about 5 minutes ago."

I shrugged my shoulders, huffing in mild frustration. However, a mischievous smirk formed on my face when I spotted my favorite target. Sam, the sweet and naive 5'7" guy; typical thick round glasses, an odd and untamed hairstyle. His head is perpetually bowed as if he's in deep thought or perhaps avoiding the world's gaze. It's a wonder how he has survived his life with such a demeanor.

I quickened my pace to catch up with him and placed a hands on his shoulders. "Hey, Sam. Living peacefully I see." His immediately tension in my presence.

This is why he is my favorite.

"No. No. I-I am... I am," Sam stammered clearly shaken.

"Oh God! Shut up you idiot. Can't even speak properly. Stop irritating me," I snapped at him. God knows why he acts like I am going to kill him.

"You spoiled my whole mood." Annoyed, I smacked his head causing him to jerk forward. "Weakling mood killers," I spat leaving him shaking as I walked away casually.

Jude's POV:

Seated on a swing in the park, I immersed myself in "The Love Hypothesis" after assisting my grandmother with the shopping.

Despite her age, she was more spirited than most young women and today, she brought a cat home which she saw roaming in the streets. Now, we have four cats in our house, it was clear how much she adored them.
