Jude's POV:

I sat in my economics class, the professor have left more than five minutes ago. I was occupying window seat, looking outside. The sunlight filtered through the trees, casting dappled shadows across the grass. And I found myself zoning out as the noise of the remaining students drifted in the background—some laughing, some complaining about assignments, others planning their next hangout.

Suddenly, a shadow fell over me, blocking the sunlight I had been absently staring into. My body tensed reflexively, assuming it was Taehyung coming to pester me again.

We really didn’t talk to each other this whole week after that night. There was this unspoken tension lingering between us. Though, every now and then, I’d catch him giving me those mischievous looks, smirking or throwing in a wink just to see me squirm. Also lately, he seemed busier which meant fewer interruptions from him invading my personal space. Not that I’m complaining.

In fact, it’s a relief.

I’m really not in the mood to deal with him right now. The mere thought of that night still sends a shiver down my spine and not in a good way. It’s like my mind insists on replaying that and all I want to do is hit my head against something hard to make it stop.

It’s just so embarrassing.

Now, all I want is to forget it ever happened but my brain isn’t that kind. Every glance from him, every teasing smirk feels like a reminder of how stupidly I let my guard down.

The worst part? I can’t even blame him entirely. I got swept up in the moment and now I’m stuck with these flashbacks that make me want to crawl into a hole and disappear.

When the shadow didn’t move, curiosity got the better of me and I hesitantly lifted my head to see who it was.

To my surprise, it wasn’t him. Instead, a completely different guy stood before me. He was tall with a lean build and an air of quiet confidence. His gaze wasn’t on me at first; he too was looking out the window.

His hair was jet black, slightly tousled, framing his face perfectly. His features were sharp—chiseled jawline, a straight nose that gave him a regal look and dark eyes, his lips were full and slightly curved, with a plumper lower lip that softened the intensity of his appearance.

He was, in a word, stunning.

As if sensing my gaze, his eyes met mine. For a moment, I froze, blinking in surprise. His expression shifted almost imperceptibly—his lips curling into a deliberate smile.
