Jude's POV:

I mentally smacked myself; this guy is a hazard to my mental well-being. Damn it! What am I even finding so gorgeous in this man? Sure, he has good looks but that doesn't equate to having a good personality. No matter how appealing his smile is, he's the spawn of Satan himself.

Every interaction with him leaves me questioning my sanity. How can someone so outwardly charming be so infuriatingly difficult to deal with?

He bites his lips and chuckles. "Interesting as always." He said, leaving me utterly perplexed about what's so intriguing here.

Just as I muster the courage to tell him to back off, a sweet feminine voice disrupts me. "Young master."

Our gaze shifts to the woman emerging from the principal's office but he glances back at me. This guy winks, shoots me a life-saving smile and casually strolls away, leaving me standing there like a clueless statue.

I instinctively touch my chest feeling my heart racing as if it's playing catch-up with a sprinting cheetah. What the hell is happening to me? Why am I acting like I've never encountered a man before?

In just four brief encounters, each lasting no more than 10 minutes, he somehow managed to stir my heart into a chaotic mess. Whether in fear or.....not in a positive way, of course.

What's wrong with me? I need to establish a safe distance from this guy. I observe him walking away alongside that woman but he turns back, catching me still standing there like an oblivious fool. Why didn't I just leave?

Once again, he graces me with a smile before exiting and disappearing from my line of sight. I shake my head, trying to shake off the lingering effects of his presence.

Why does he smile so much?

I should head back home; dwelling on this troublemaker might make me sick.

"Grandma, it's 8 PM. You want me to go out just to buy tomato ketchup and green chilies at this time?" I protested.

She shot me a stern look over her thick glasses. "Don't show me that little attitude, Miss. You want to eat Manchurian, right? Now go and bring it."

With a dramatic sigh, I reluctantly rose from the couch, switching off the TV.

No one can win against Grandma.

Heading to the supermarket, I bought tomato ketchup and green chilies along with my favorite chocolate bar, Dairy Milk ganache. I swear this is the best flavor of Dairy Milk.

Grandma always gave me extra money to splurge on whatever I desired. She is the best.

As I was returning back with groceries, I heard few distant noises. Should I investigate? Probably not a good idea.
