Phone call for you

Annie? Martin asked on the phone. Yes? Said Hallie. Oh dear the girl on the phone sounds just like you. To whom do you wish to speak to? He asked. To Annie? Oh it's for you. He hands her the phone. As I stand with her. We were told the girl on the phone sounded just like her twin.

We thought this was very funny. My twin? Very funny good one Martin. Hallie tells him taking the phone from him and grabbing the other half. Oh Mildred darling how are you? She says loud enough that it sounds like exactly who they said they were.

How's it going over there? Annie asked us. Well it's quite lovely over here we're expecting some rain. Said Hallie. Annie went into the bathroom with Jason so that they could both talk to us"Annie" told "Mildred" to hang on a moment as we went into the coat closet with the phone. Ok but hurry Hal Farrah I've got to talk to you both! She begged us.

Something seemed very wrong. Once inside the coat closet we had to use quiet voices. Ok now we can talk we held the phone close between us. OMG Annie mom is amazing and it is so fun watching Farrah model. I can not believe I lived my whole life so far not knowing her. Hallie gushed.

Farrah is the perfect split image of our mother. Mom is beautiful and fun and smart and I love the gowns she designs and I love seeing Farrah in them. Hallie went on and on. Though they are quiet different than the ones she wears to premiers and in plays/musicals back home.

But.... Annie tried to cut her off. And we've got her talking about how she first met dad. Hallie went on. Hallie! Annie scolded cutting her off while I had tried not to blush. Stop we've got a major problem here. Annie exclaimed. She wanted us to bring our mother out there right away.

Are you nuts?! Hallie complained I've only had one day with her! I'm just getting to know her. I can't I won't! She said back. But this is an emergency! Annie said again. I took the phone from Hallie and held it closer to me with a worried look on my face this had to be about Cruella Devil.

Dad's in love! She said. Get out of here! Dad doesn't fall in love at least not seriously! Hallie told her. Farrah would know best. We thought this was funny. Well he's serious about this one Annie complained. He's always holding her hand kissing her neck and waiting on her hand and foot. Thankfully Jason is with me to help me with this since Farrah can't be.

I'm sorry Annie Banani but I can't be in two places at once and I had work to do down here. He is? Hallie asked her. It's disgusting. She complained. You're going to have to break them up sabotage it do something anything. Jason is really good at these things and this is Farrah's plan. Way to throw me under the bus Hal. I nudge her.

I'm trying but I'm at a slight disadvantage Annie told us. I only met the man two hours ago. Hallie went searching through the coat pockets finding an empty wrapper. I gave her a look. Annie I can't I want more time with mom. Hallie demanded. And then there was a crinkling sound on the phone. What's going on over there?

Annie? Jason? Are you guys still there? I can barely hear you! Hallie said as I tried not to groan or laugh while I rolled my eyes. We're here we're here Annie tried to talk to her. Operator operator. Hallie was saying. I think I lost you Annie Jason. Hello? They kept calling as Hallie slammed the phone down to end the call. Thanks for all the help girls. Annie complained.

And then we came out of the closet. Everyone starring at us. She said had gotten a call from a friend from camp and it's an old camp tradition talk to your friend from inside a coat closet. When Farrah and Jason taught it to us we thought they were joking but it's real. Kind of stupid we know but anyways.... Breakfast anyone?
