Operation seeing double

So our plan began we were still going with my plan. We needed him to see mom for real. Remember why they loved each other. So we had Annie was in the hallway and dad came by asked her to do him a favor. While he was gone she was to go upstairs and keep Meredith company. But of course he called her Hallie. Asked her how he looked she said looking fab dad young and fab. Next he came down the stairs off the elevator Jason and I looked like those spies holding newspapers making sure everything went well. He turned the corner and Hallie appeared behind him leaving dad confused. Asking how she was gonna go upstairs and keep Meredith company. I was? She asked him since it was the other twin he was just talking to. She said she was just looking for her actually as she took a glance around the lobby.

I pulled Jason to the side gave him a walkie talkie stay on Annie and I'll stay with Hallie. Well we have been becoming good friends lately. Well some day hopefully fingers crossed. I cross my arms over my chest crossing my fingers. If or when we end up together in the long run and hopefully we will because while we're 16 je t'aime (I love you) and he said it back as we kissed. Now.... Kiss.... Go.... Kiss.... As we watched Hallie hugged dad said it was great to see him and after all she had been with me so she hadn't seen dad since she got back from camp. It's great to see you too squirt he pulled away looked her up and down and said nice outfit since that's not what the first twin was wearing. He gave her a little shove toward the elevator and as she waited the she devil herself came down. Hallie hadn't yet met her but Meredith thought she was just playing nice and dumb to get on her good side. Asked if she was talking to her when she asked where our father was.

He went that way I think she pointed in a direction. She gave her a look up and down. What are you starring at? Oh nothing nothing you're just very pretty that's all. She thought this was trick didn't want her breaking her "rotten" streak and being nice to her suddenly. If you see your father tell him he's late and I'm waiting she said to Hallie. Whatever you say Cruella Hallie muttered after her. Meredith sat on a stole at a bar next to our mother who didn't know it was our mother but knew she was Elizabeth James our mom asked for a drink and was told not to ask what was in it. Here's to you she turned to Meredith and hoped her life was less complicated than hers though it wasn't because that was the woman dad was supposed to marry. Meredith was so excited to meet here as she intro herself and complimented her dresses she told mom she faxed her office yesterday but they said she was out of town. And that it must be fate. Meanwhile dad arrived down at the pool it was time for a swim.

He looked around trying to find someone that looked like mom made sure he though he saw who he thought he saw. Jason and I were taking this time to take a dip in the pool keeping an eye on dad having heard where he was. He kept apologizing to the random women that he thought were mom and bumping into employees until he was backing up backing backing up at the edge of the pool in a daze in his very nice suit. The soon to be non future in laws asked where he had been that they had been looking for him. They told him they felt the hotel was perfect for the wedding. The more they saw of it the more they liked it and evidently so did dad. And then mom was walking down the stairs in his view. They asked dad how many from his side of the family but he was a bit distracted. He was happy to see her as she slid on some sunglasses hadn't seen him yet and she was smiling having a good time. He said he'd get back to them on it and wasn't sure at the moment.

But as he was chasing mom to make sure it was really her there were too many people in the way. One thing led to another we were all at the pool mom the girls me and Jason Chessie and Martin Sammy. And dad was tripping over everything. Boss are you ok she asked him as Sammy perked his head up. While Marin took pictures of Chessie they looked like real tourists. Dad watch out Annie called not soon as enough. Mom turned and saw dad right before he went into the pool and we all cringed. Mom covered her mouth with laughter as dad got out his suit dripping wet. He came to mom they were happy to see each other. Hello Liz. Hello Nick. They had seen each other. Phase whatever complete. They were happily surprised to see each other and we all came together. Uh is there something going on here I should know about he asked her. Because I'm stunned to see you. But you don't seem as stunned to see me. And i haven't heard from you in about 11 years. And all of a sudden you appear on the very day that.... Dad? Annie starts as I stand with her. I can explain why she's here she started as I put my hands on her shoulders and bit my lip. Actually we all can. I started.

Hallie do you know who this is? He asked her. Actually yes and actually I'm not Hallie. Actually I am the real Hallie said with Jason at her side. All 3 of them the twins together? He asked in shock. Annie? He asked her. Hallie? He did a double take then looked up at me and Jason. He placed a hand on my shoulder I bit my lip blinking back tears as I gave a small smile. You sent Farrah to camp where she met Jason at our age and Farrah has been talking to us both going back and forth from you and mom and trying to convince you both it was your idea to send each of us to that camp. Annie said. She wanted us to get in enough trouble so we could meet and become friends and learn we were sisters while she and Jason kept on eye on us. And it was the she told us her plan. They switched places on us Nick mom said. You mean I've had Annie with me the whole time? He asked happily surprised. Well I wanted to know what you were like and Hallie wanted to know mom and Farrah is so tired of going back and forth to you both every other weekend so it seems when she loves you both and wants to be with you both and not be forced to choose. She's been planning this since before we got to camp.

Are you angry Annie asked him. He said of course not I just can't believe it's you. She said she was sorry he was all wet he didn't care. She said she was quite grown up now and quite without a father and Farrah only gets one or the other part time. And she's already in her crazy mixed up teenage years and Annie and I are headed that way. I'll be the only girl I know who doesn't have a mother to fight with and Farrah goes back and forth making her head spin. Trying to balance modeling in London acting and singing in L.A. and her boyfriend in Canada it just doesn't seem very fair on any of us. Hallie you've been in London this whole time? Dad asked her. And then they hugged. And we 3 girls group hugged with dad. I'm sorry kid he turned to me I wish I knew sooner. Mom's amazing dad IDK how you ever let her go or how you can keep letting Farrah go leaving Annie and I only so much time back and forth with our sister. Girls why don't the 3 of you and Jason go and let me talk with your father for a few mins. Sure fine take your time we all agreed. We happily walked away getting into the next part of my plan. Dad sat with mom with a bunch of towels he couldn't believe this.

Good I see you have met she said to mom and dad and was a little confused considering they looked like they were about to kiss. They stood up she intro mom to dad wasn't sure how they had met didn't understand. How did you two meet Nicky why are you all wet?! You're making my fiancée's wedding gown? He asked her surprised she was just as surprised which made all 3 of them. How did you two meet? When did you meet? Dad asked them. Am I missing something here? She asked them. Dad said you know this is one small world. How small? She fake smiled in confusion. Hi Mer. Annie said coming up to her with me in tow. Hello she greeted us on her best behavior in front of our parents. How you doin'? Hallie asked her with Jason with her. She shrieked in surprise doing a double take. Honey did I ever tell you Farrah has twin sisters? He asked her.

No I'm afraid you forgot that little detail. She was not happy about this. Don't worry about it Mer Hallie started he never told me either. Then again neither did my big sister. Not my place to tell squirt. BTW I'm the real Hallie this is Annie. She was pretending to me while I was pretending to be her. And it was all our sister's idea and her boyfriend just does as she says. And this is our mother Elizabeth James. This is your mother? She tried to get everything sorted out straight. Yes we girls said in perfect unplanned sync of each other with grins on our faces. You were married to him? She asked mom. This really is a small world she agreed. And getting smaller dad finished.
