i throw my phone on my bed and jump straight up. i run to my closet and get an outfit. a white graphic tee, red zip-up hoodie, dark blue jeans, and my black converse. i take a mirror/fit check and post it on insta

omg. CHRIS COMMENTED ON MY POST AND CALLED ME CUTEEEE!! im dying inside. i check my phone and notice it's 6:23. OH SHIT I GOTTA GO. i grab my back pack, keys, and sister and kiss my mom goodbye. i run out the door with my sister and get in my car and drive to the triplets house, "dakota where are we going?" "the triplets because they need me to pick them up?" "oh okay." i pull upto their driveway and text nick.

i sigh. "are you okay?" my sister asks, "yeah im good, nicks just bein annoying." "oh, that sounds abt right." "yep." i see their front door open and chris runs right to the passenger seat and throws open the door, "WHATS POPPINNN???" "hey chriss, how'd you sleep??" "pretty amazing," he says while climbing into my car, "how about you?" "pretty well to be honest." "okay lovebirds, shut up and get in," nick says while climbing into the back seat while matt climbs in on the other side, "yeah we get that yall are in love," matt says annoyed, "okay matt, you gonna act like you and kadie arent literally in love??" i remark. matt rolls his eyes and gets in. i finally drive off at 6:47.
*TIMESKIP* in math class
i sat next to chris and notice hes zoned out, looking at me, "whatcha lookin at?" he snaps out of it, "oh uhm nothing." class starts and we sit up.
*TIMESKIP* (sorry for all the timeskips, nothing interesting ever happens in school lmao) in lunch
i sit with chris, kadie, nick, matt, noah, and andrew. i have one airpod and chris has the other and we listen to our playlist while talking to each other. i notice matt and nick whispering and looking over at us. i death-stare them till they notice and stop. "what yall whispering about?" "uhh nothingg" they say in unison. "whatever guys," chris says.
a/n pov they notice madi ferry starting to walk upto them and dakota gets annoyed as soon as she notices. "heyyy chriss." madi says. "um hi?" chris says confused. "how are you??" "uh good? what do you want?" "can i not talk to you??" "no ya cant." dakota says in an annoyed tone, "who was even talking to you?" "who was talking to YOU? like get the fuck away, nobody wants you here and you're just annoying chris." "aww are you just mad that i have a better chance with chris than you?" "keep dreaming sweetie. he doesnt like plastic, fake, spoiled brats." "ugh whatever" madi says while walking away.
dakota pov ugh. shes so fucking annoying. i finally look up and notice that everyone's staring at me and nick finally breaks the silence, "kota, do you wanna go talk for a sec?" "yes please." nick grabs my hand and we walk out of the cafeteria. "so what was that about? i know you like him, but what the fuck was that about?" "i just fucking hate her. she thinks shes all that it makes mad that she tries to take chris from me even though he likes me and nobody else."
