Once upon a time
There was a girl cloaked in red
She walked a path of darkness
Alone, but for the wolf
That consumed her
The wolf once approached her
Disguised as a friend
And the girl cloaked in red
Trusted the lying wolf when he said
"Come closer, my dear
And have no fear"
So she walked a little closer
Till she was too far near
His sharp white teeth
And she found the wolf beneath
The friendly disguise
To the wolf she lost
Her light, her innocence, her laugh
And now the once bright shining girl
Must walk along a dark shadowed path
She is forever known
As the girl cloaked in red
Tricked by a wolf that looked like a friend
