Silent stalkers in the night
Wake me, give me quite a fright
Bending, breaking flesh and bone
Keep me quaking, left to roam
Fingers, toes curl with delight
I will not be alone tonight
Shaking muscles, deep hard breaths
A touch - I'm empty, nothing left
Trickling streams, harsh raindrops
Crimson red, curdles, pops
Upon the ground my future smeared
Its all I've ever dreamt and feared
Both emptied out and filled up
Upside down and right side up
Falling down on knees and hands
Sweat and blood, sea and land
Love is lost and love is felt
Beaten in with leather belts
Mark my body and bruise my skin
It never compares to the horror within
