"I.D. ma'am?" The security asked me. I looked at him weird. Do I really look that young that they still need ask for my I.D.?
I showed him my I.D. and he let me pass. I strutted in and saw freedom. People were dancing on the dance floor. Others were talking and laughing with their friends. The colorful lights beamed around the club. The sound of the music bounced around, making the floor tremble. I walked towards the bar and sat on an empty stool.
"What can I get for you, love?" Asked the bartender with an accent. I gave him a dazzling smile.
"Something to make me forget," I replied. He nodded his head.
"I know exactly what to get you," he said and walked away.
I sat on my stool patiently and glanced at the dance floor. People were getting down and dirty. I chuckled and shook my head.
"Here you go," the bartender said and handed me a shot cup.
I hesitated. Do I trust this guy? I exhaled and picked up the cup and sniffed it. It smelled really strong. I took a sip and felt it burn down my throat. I winced and continued drinking it. I finished every last drop and slammed the cup down on the table.
"More," I ordered.
The bartender rushed to give me another shot. I gulped it and felt the satisfying burn. I felt the results immediately and started swaying. I kept ordering the bartender to give me more and more.
"Stop. Don't give her anymore," a masculine voice ordered the bartender. I saw the bartender nod and left, leaving me alone with this man.
"What the hell? You don't tell him what to do," I hissed at the man.
He was a good looking man. He had tannish skin and a nice facial complexion. His plump lips were pursed and his eyebrows were scrunched up. He was wearing a black suit and he smelled so good. I mentally shook my head. Alessia, snap out of it. You're supposed to be mad at him.
"Well I just did," he replied smugly.
I glared at him. He looked back at me, not breaking our eye contact. I looked away first and searched for another bartender. I saw one but he was already helping someone else.
"Excuse me," I shouted and waved my hand to capture his attention. "I need another drink." He glanced at me and nodded his head. He held up his finger, indicating I had to wait.
"No she doesn't," the stranger next to me said. I glanced back at him and glared at him.
"Who the hell do you think you are?" I hissed. He raised his eyebrows at me.
"You don't know who I am?" He interrogated, amused.
"No," I replied and rolled my eyes. "Obviously. I wouldn't have asked you if I did." I looked away to search for my bartender.
"I need a drink damn it," I roared.
The bartender that was helping someone else quickly came to me and gave me another shot cup. The liquid was a different color than the other ones I drank, but I didn't care. I raised the cup to my lips, but it was snatched away.
"What the fuck?" I glared at the asshole next to me. He was holding the cup away from my reach and set it away from me.
"Well Alessia, I never knew you had that sense of vocabulary," he mocked.
I raised my eyebrows at him. He knows my name?
"Are you a stalker? Get the fuck away from me!" I yelled and stood up.
