Samuel lead us out of the forest and to a nearby road. Parked on the side of the rode was a shiny black car. Sam and Kira climbed in, and Kira said, "Come on Leila, it's a car it won't bite!"
I hesitantly climbed into the backseat, and Kira buckled my seat belt. "James was right, you have a lot to learn." Samuel started up the car, and we drove away. Driving in a car was a lot different then walking. We went by so fast, it sent a funny sensation throughout my body.
Kira turned on the radio, and music came on. It was a lot different then the old times music my parents had me listen to, it was a lot more up beat and catchier.
We drove in silence, for about ten minutes, before we final reached a store. Kira got out of the car, and ran over to my side, opening my door. She unbuckled the seat belt and pulled me along, "Come on Leila! You'll love this!"
"Kira, slow down." I said as I tried to keep up.
"Girls, sunglasses," Sam reminded us. We put on our sunglasses, and walked into the store. It was huge, and filled with everything essential to live, or at least that's how it looked.
"Sam, you go do whatever, I'm taking Leila to the clothes department." Kira said dragging me with her.
Sam nodded, "Okay, meet me be back here within thirty minutes."
"Thirty minutes!" Kira squealed quietly, "that's the longest Sam ever gave us for shopping!"
She lead me to the clothes department, and I gasped, there were so many clothes! "What's your size?" Kira asked me.
"I'm 5'5." I replied, and Kira began to laugh.
"Not your height, your clothes size."
I raised an eyebrow, "My what?"
Kira sighed, and pulled the back collar of my shirt, and looked at the tag, "Your a size small in women." She told me.
She began to pick through the rows of clothes, picking shirts out that were more her style than mine. She had a dozen of shirts in her hand, and handed them to me.
"What do I do now?" I asked.
"You try them on in the changing room." Kira said, pointing to a door behind me. I began trying on the shirts, they all fit, and were way more fashionable than my old clothes. When I finally finished, Kira handed me a stack of pants. "I have to try these on too!?" I whined.
Kira nodded, "Now hurry up, we have fifteen minutes left."
I tried them all on, and luckily, they all fit. I now had tons of fashionable shirts, a few lazy plain shirts, two pairs of shorts, two pairs of jeans, two pairs of sweat pants, and three cute skirts. It was a whole lot, but Kira said that Sam would be able to handle it.
Sam was waiting for us, and took us to the checkout. He handed the cashier the clothes, and she scanned them. "That would be one hundred and ten dollars please." Sam began to stare at her, and then he held his hand out. Nothing was in it, but the cashier seemed to think she was taking money out of his hands. She opened the cash register, and put what she thought was money into the cash register.
"Thank you have a nice day." She said. Samuel stopped staring at her, and took the bags of clothes. "See," Kira whispered, "he made an illusion that he was giving her the money." I had to admit, that was pretty cool, but we technically just stole...
We went back into the car, and drove back to the forest. Sam parked the car on the side of the road again, and we walked through the forest until we reached the house. Nighttime was setting in, and I was starving, I hadn't eat all day.
The house smelled amazing, "Lita is a master cook," Kira explained. We left the kitchen and went to my bedroom to unpack my clothes. "We can share clothes you know," said Kira, "we're the same size." Well that explained why a lot of the clothes looked like something she would wear.
After we finished putting all the clothes away, we went to the dining room where Lita had set out dinner. The food was delicious, and I had never eaten so much before in my life.
"You should get some rest Leila," Sam said as everyone began to finish eating, "You'll need it. We start your training tomorrow." I nodded and excused myself, heading back to my bedroom to get some sleep.
