They soon got back to the castle. Jayden had had no idea this was such a grand place. "Wow. You guys live in a castle?" she asked in shock.

"Yes, we do. It's our ancestral home." Broadway declared.

"It's like a crown on the skyscraper." She said.

"Yep. But we wouldn't have it any other way." Brook stated.

"How long have you lived there?"

"All our lives, with one exception of two years." Brooklyn replied.

Jayden had never flown this high up before in her short time as a new gargess. "It's getting a little too scary for me to get this high in the sky." She declared fearfully.

"Don't look down. We're almost there." Brooklyn said.

They soon touched down on the battlements of the castle. This place was huge! She was actually standing on the castle battlements!

"How do you find your way around this place?" she asked.

"We'll show you around after you meet our clan. Goliath, our leader especially." Broadway said. "Or rather, Brooklyn here will show you around." He gave his red bro a wink.

Brooklyn caught the wink. He knew what Broadway was trying to do. He got a bit nervous at this. He still needed to see how his twins were doing.

"Oh, uh, yeah. I can do that. After a while. I have to check on something first." Brook declared. They led her inside to meet Mr. Xanatos and Owen, who were in the Great Hall talking about what conference they had in the morning.

"Here is the man who brought our castle here." Broadway directed Jayden.

"Hello, Brooklyn and Broadway. Who's this?" David greeted them.

"I'm Jayden Wilkinson." The female introduced herself.

"The missing rock singer?" Owen asked.

"Yes. I was kidnapped and turned into a gargoyle." Jayden replied.

"Who kidnapped you?" David asked. He had an idea of who had done this to her.

"A brown-haired man at a genetics lab." Jayden replied. She was not to mention Thailog. That was part of her brainwashing from the device in her neck.

"Sounds like Sevarius." Brooklyn stated.

"He's the only one I know that is capable of doing such things." David declared.

"Right now, she needs a place to rest." Broadway said.

"Brooklyn, you know where there's an empty room in one of the bedroom areas?" David asked.

"Yes." Brook replied. "Come along, Jayden."

Broadway was going to go back to Angela, but he first helped Brooklyn find a compatible room for her. Brooklyn made sure to not show her his room just yet. He was being protective of his room for the sake of his twins.

"What do you think?" Brooklyn asked as he led her into the room.

"It's beautiful!" Jayden replied in shock. She had never been in such a grand place. She had a feeling she was going to like it here.

"Here, you can relax and do what you want. We'll be back in a while to check on you, especially after our leader returns." Brooklyn declared.

Jayden was glad to have a place to stay, even if it was temporary.

The two males left her to explore the room. There was even a bathroom there. She would take this time to take a bath. She hadn't had one in days. Being a human before, she might have been infused with gargoyle DNA, but unlike these gargoyles, she didn't turn to stone. She would still be active in the daytime.
