They weren't allowed to see each other until the wedding. If they had to send a message to the other, they would send a messenger.

Brook and Jayden both took baths before their wedding. It was so rare for the gargoyles to bathe, but the whole clan did too. The wedding would take place at around eleven so there was plenty of time for hair to dry.

For Jayden, after her bath, Angela did as promised. She folded her hair into a ponytail and bun while getting the veil into the curl too. There were some barrettes put in it too. All of her hair was pulled back, but she didn't want it too tight that it would give her a headache.

Her dress was white. It complimented her golden hair. The gown length wasn't too long past her feet though. She didn't want it dragging on the ground. But it did hide her feet.

Her parents came in to see how she was doing. They told her she looked so beautiful. They were proud of her and her decision. Joshua stayed in the room with her as he was walking her down the aisle.

All her bridesmaids were in a different room, but they had seen how she looked, and she looked gorgeous to them.

For Brooklyn, after his bath, his hair needed to be brushed and straightened out. It took a lot of detangler spray to help get it looking smooth and silky. He winced when the brush would pull on a tangle. Some tangles had to be cut out too, but his hair was still maintained at its usual length.

He was just wearing a black tux for a man that was changed about so it would fit around his wings. Brooklyn folded his wings down to where his wing hands were just on his shoulders instead of folded over his chest like he normally did.

His brothers were in the room with him. "Ready to become a mated male?" Broadway asked with a smile.

"Yeah, I am. I'm ready to say goodbye to my single days. I won't miss those at all." Brook replied.

"Getting butterflies here?" Lex teased playfully, poking Brooklyn's stomach.

"No, I'm fine, Lex. I just want to see my beloved." Brook said, rubbing his belly.

"You glad to not be doing this while you were pregnant?" Broadway asked.

"I would much rather it be done this way even if I had met Jayden back then. The kids get to be a part of the wedding too." Brook stated. He definitely didn't want to imagine himself in a tux when he had had a big belly. This was so much better.

"Yep." Lex agreed.

Soon, it was time for everything to start. Goliath came and got Brooklyn.

The guests were all seated in the courtyard. Jayden's mom, Elisa's parents and sister, Matt, the Labyrinth Clan of mutates and clones, Dave and Bobbi, Hudson, Robbins, and the Xanatos'. Owen was playing the music. It was just traditional wedding music. Everyone looked really nice.

Goliath and Brooklyn went first to the alter. Broadway went next to stand next to his brother.

Brooklyn didn't want to let on that he was nervous about this occasion. All eyes were on him as the groom. He was just looking forward to seeing how beautiful Jayden looked. He hadn't seen her since last night for a brief time.

Butterflies fluttered in his stomach and his heart was racing. "Try to take deep breaths, Brooklyn." Goliath said softly. The red male nodded in reply.

Elisa then walked up the aisle in her Maid of Honor gown. It was a yellow dress. Goliath smiled at her upon her looking joyously at him in return. They would do this too one day.

Angela then proceeded to walk Sienna down the aisle as the Flower Girl, holding Sienna in one arm, and a basket of flowers on that same arm while throwing flowers everywhere. Brooklyn smiled at her for doing his daughter's job. Broadway also smiled at her. Both girls were beautiful to the two males, but Brook's eyes were for another.
