Upon their arrival at the offices, Anne gracefully assisted Jason in retrieving the suitcases from the limousine's trunk. The weather held a subtle chill in the air, a gentle reminder of the transitioning season. Juliet, spotting Kass emerging from the limo, bounced over with uncontainable enthusiasm. "SWEETIE, you made it!" She enveloped Kass in a warm embrace. "Of course, what did you take me for?" Kass chuckled in response.

Observing Jason's efforts with the suitcases, Kass couldn't help but notice the newfound definition in his physique. Unbeknownst to her, he had been hitting the gym, and the results were becoming increasingly evident. She found herself unexpectedly captivated by his transformed appearance. Catching her gaze, Jason smiled, oblivious to the thoughts racing through her mind. "Ready to board the coach?" He casually slung one well-defined arm around her shoulders. "Mhm," Kass nodded, opting to keep her potentially embarrassing musings to herself.

The group, including Derek, Juliet, Jessica, and other office members, eagerly boarded the coach. Jason exchanged friendly words with the coach driver, the familiar face from the previous year's journey. The sight triggered reflections on the whirlwind of events that had unfolded in the past year. Unlike the previous trip, Kass expressed a desire to share a compartment with Jason this time. They selected one with a panoramic view, allowing them to enjoy the passing landscapes. As everyone settled in, the coach embarked on its 2-and-a-half-hour journey to the countryside, heading back to the familiar campsite.

About half an hour into the trip, Kass felt Jason's weight against her shoulder as he succumbed to a deep slumber. She couldn't help but recall the sleepless nights that Anne had mentioned, the toll of worry evident on Jason. She couldn't help but feel guilty, were her struggles burdening him more than she realized? An hour into the journey, Jason roused from his nap, his eyes adjusting to the surroundings of the coach. During that time, Kass had quietly observed him as he slept, feeling a twinge of self-consciousness for her creepy behaviour. Despite the initial discomfort, she couldn't resist the impulse to snuggle up to him, pulling the shared blanket tighter around them on the seat.

She couldn't resist the magnetic pull drawing her closer to him, an irresistible urge to be enveloped in his warmth. Desire has welled up within her, whispering of the potential for something more. Thoughts of wanting to touch him and explore shared adventures lingered in her mind, a tempting invitation to break free from the confines of mere friendship.

Yet, uncertainty wrapped around her like a blanket. The delicate balance of their connection teetered on the edge of something deeper, but she hesitated. The friendly familiarity that surrounded them felt both comforting and confining. Unsure if he felt the same way or if he was ready for a shift, Kass found herself caught in the trap between longing and the fear of disrupting their already amazing connection.

"Heyy, wakey wakey," she whispered in his ear. Jason chuckled, "that tickled," he said, looking up at her. He paused momentarily, and Kass took the opportunity to lean in and give him a soft kiss on the lips. Jason, stunned, sat up straight, his hair sticking in several directions. A tint of pink adorned his cheeks, and his smile stretched across his face. He seemed delighted, and Kass felt butterflies rush through her stomach. She had acted on an impulse, unsure if Jason would like it, but it seemed that he did. She was glad and relieved.

"I'm sorry..." she said, turning the other way on the chair. She wasn't sorry at all; she just wanted more of his attention. "What for?" Jason spoke softly, turning her around again. "Acting on impulse..." Kass replied, looking into his eyes. They were the most mesmerizing ocean she had ever looked into. She was being pulled into a trance just by looking into them.

Jason broke the spell when he laughed heartily. "You should do it more often..."He pulled himself to sit right next to her, their closeness sending a pleasant shiver down Kass's spine. "Listen, I've been thinking about it... about us," Jason began to speak, pausing to look at her. Kass nodded, encouraging him to speak. What was he going to say? Was it something bad? "Things haven't been clear between us. We've maintained the professional side at work, but at home when we're together, I feel something completely different," he told her. Kass, intrigued, didn't understand what he was trying to imply. "What do you mean?" she listened closely, her gaze fixed on him. What was he trying to say?

"I mean... I feel something strong with you. When I'm with you, my heart races, I get sweaty... all sorts of things happen to me. I don't want to tread on eggshells when it comes to a relationship..." Jason spoke. His words flowed, revealing his emotions. He was starting to speak faster and waffle, but Kass listened attentively, trying to make sense of everything he was telling her. "Ok, I'm procrastinating, I just wanted to ask you... will you be my girlfriend?" Jason asked Kass. Kass froze in her spot, a mix of surprise and delight on her face."Wait, really? You want me to...?"

"Yes, yes, I want you to. Please. I think we both feel a certain way about each other, and I can't put it off any longer," Jason spoke sincerely, holding her hands while doing so, looking into her eyes in almost a pleading sort of way. Kass couldn't believe he had asked her. It was a moment she had thought about a lot, and made scenarios up in her head, but she had never thought it would happen on a coach of all places. Nevertheless, she didn't care where it happened; the important thing was how she felt about him.

"GOD, YES!" She laughed, the joy bubbling over. Jason broke out into an infectious grin. "I've been going crazy, Jason. Before the whole dad incident, I was going crazy, and now I'm starting to go loco again. You don't know how much you mess with my head." She admitted, her eyes reflecting the happiness that had settled in her heart.

Kass leaped out of her chair and down the corridor in just socks, her heart still racing with the exhilarating news. She burst into Juliet's compartment, who was busy stuffing her face with the onboard desserts. "YOU'LL NEVER GUESS WHAT!" Kass squealed in excitement."LET ME GUESS. You're pregnant," Juliet joked, a mischievous twinkle in her eye.

"WHAT..??? NO.." Kass screeched in horror, dismissing the absurd notion. "Jason just asked me out. HE ASKED. Me. OUT." She started jumping up and down, unable to contain her joy."NO wayyyyyy! The CEO?" Juliet gasped, setting down the cake tin, her eyes widening in disbelief."I HEAR giggles!" Jessica's head peeked around the door, drawn by the commotion. Kass quickly shared the news, and soon all three of them were jumping up and down in celebration. The news was too good to keep to themselves.

"Kass, where did you run off to?" Jason's voice could be heard from the corridor. "Your boo is calling," Jessica teased, a playful glint in her eyes.Kass turned crimson, a mix of embarrassment and excitement flooding her. She was so thrilled she felt like she could burst. The prospect of spending more time with Jason filled her with anticipation and happiness.
