The Arcandox

Chapter One

It's a peaceful night in the city of New York as everyone just enjoyed the peaceful cold wind of the night but it wasn't so peaceful as they thought

Underneath them was an intense battle in the sewers, it was a battle between Derrick and a Raticos which is a humanoid monster that looks like a huge rat with red eyes, sharp claws and had a very long serpent like tail

It was trying to use it's tail to grab Derrick and squeeze the life outta him but he was fast enough to dodge all it's attacks before it started using it's claws to try and scratch him

But he dodged again and it scratch a part of the sewer making water leak from that part, it then tried to cut Derrick on the face but Derrick blocked the attack with his enchanted sword

Derrick then used aerokinesis to push back the Raticos and then tried to attack it when he was suddenly hit by it's long tail and this made him fly backwards

And as he tried to get up, the Raticos caught him and wrapped him with it's long tail and tried to squeeze the life outta him, but the bones of a Sentinel were far stronger and durable than those of any human or elf for that matter

Derrick broke out with surprising ease and they both started attacking each other as the Raticos used it's tail and claws to attack Derrick while Derrick on the other hand used his sword to defend and gave the Raticos some cuts

It wasn't long when the Raticos was able to hit Derrick with lot's of force that disarmed him as his sword flew off from his hand, he was then the Raticos was able to pull a tiger claw move with it's claws that gave Derrick some cuts and made him fly backwards

Derrick fell and as he tried to stand up, the Raticos used it's tail to pull a leg sweep as Derrick was swept off his feet and as he hit the ground, the Raticos used it's tail to hit him in a way that made him flew up to the top of the sewer and then the Raticos hit him again as he flew straight down and went face first on the sewer floor

Derrick used his enhanced speed to gain some momentum as he got up and dodged the Raticos when it came towards him and then he got to his sword and spined back immediately as if he knew the Raticos was right behind him

He stabbed the Raticos on it's chest as it staggered and then Derrick just kicked it using his strength as it flew 10 meters backwards away from him and as it tried to get up, Derrick just summoned and blasted it off with a lightning bolt

And then as Derrick jumped to finished it off, it caught Derrick with it's tail and Derrick was able to manipulate heat around it's tail that it got hot and it had to let Derrick go and as it did

Derrick picked up the pace as it tried to grab Derrick using it's tail again but this time Derrick was too fast for it as Derrick cut off it's tail using his sword and then as it screamed in pain, Derrick cut off it's head and that was it

Derrick had just killed the Raticos and decided to burn the body in the sewer as humans who work there may pass by and see it

So he then burnt the body to ash as he blasted it with a beam of fire and when he was done he left the sewer and walked towards a the woods.

At the south side of town, Amaya just arrived at a bar with her motorcycle as she just parked it by the side and walked right in

This bar was known to be owned by the notorious gang leader known as Big Fisk and his gang where known as The Fisks

So as she walked into the bar, the men and women looked at her in a strange way as she was dressed like an ancient assassin in black wearing a cape (cloak) and a hood

"And who's this weirdly dressed fucker"

Someone side from the background but Amaya didn't pay attention to that as she was her for something else as she walked up to a man who was known as Fiskly and as he turned to face her from were he was sitting
