The Arcandox

Chapter Seven

Derrick was taken to a forest as he jumped into his portal before the facility was destroyed as it was daytime in the forest

"What the hell this isn't where I should be!"

He said as he got there but he decided to find his way out as he started walking towards the north side of the forest

Richard and his men got to the destroyed facility a minute later and then stayed for a while to see what they could find

Amaya was watching them from a distance before she decided to leave but she didn't know that Richard saw her

Molad and his associates where somewhere far off from the facility as they watched what was going on

"So what do we do now?"

Yira asked and Molad said

"We find them and in turn we find the Arcandox"

Derrick was just walking around the forest when an elf sentinel was riding a horse towards him, he drew out his sword in order to prepare for battle

But it turns out it was Isabella, who immediately came down her horse when she saw him as she put down her hood and then she said

"Oh I've been looking for you for a while now"

"And you are?"

"Oh am Isabella we met 250 years ago when you came over to the base in London for a mission, you saw how terrible I was and then you decided to teach me some tricks"

"Ah I see now I remember, what do you want?"

"Am here to save you as their are a group of elves sentinels calling themselves The EOT and they're coming for you"

"Hmm you mean those elves that tried to attack me at the facility and killed that human scientist?"

"Yeah that's them, I've been following them for a while now I was there when it all happened, I was following them to see if they could lead me to you"

"I see and when you saw where I was going through the portal you followed suit"

"Not exactly, I opened up a portal to escape the destruction of the building and somehow I got here, I was planning on going somewhere else not here"

"Strange as I didn't plan on getting here either but here I am"

"I think the energy from the reaction must have messed with our portals and somehow we got here"

"That's an interesting theory"

"You know it's true"

"Whatever, why would an elf sentinel try to help me after what I've done"

"Because I..."

As Isabella tried to answer, the both of them heard a sound in the background and then they went to check it out

And then suddenly an elf sentinel showed up as he jumped from a tree and tried to attack Derrick but Derrick saw him on time and stabbed him right in the heart, killing him instantly

"Oh shit, looks like the energy also interfered with Andrew's portal and it brought them here"

"Andrew?"

"Yes he's the leader of The EOT"

"I see, stay here am the one they're looking for not you"

Derrick said as he left her standing there alone and headed towards the direction the elfen sentinel came from and as he got to a point
