The Arcandox

Chapter Three

It wasn't long before Derrick arrived at Abuja Nigeria in a secret high tech facility through a portal he created using the Portalis he got from Jack

So as he got there, he want inside the facility and was lurking around a lab until a Nigerian human scientist walked in and saw Derrick

"Who they hell are you?"

He asked as Derrick just looked at him then the scientist said

"Look if you don't tell me who you are right now, imma call security"

"You can try"

"Dr Ifenyi, what's going on?"

An American scientist named Grace walked into the lab

"Look I need to know where you're keeping The Arcandox"

Derrick said looking at the both of them sternly

"The Arcandox? Wait you mean the ancient artifact we've been researching on for a while now"

Ifenyi said and Derrick replied

"Yes"

Grace then pulls out her gun and pointed it at Derrick

"You'll have to go through us before you can get your hands on it, we can't let you take years of research just because you asked for it and besides why are you weirdly dressed?"

Derrick just looked at her sternly as his eyes became fixed on her and it was then she noticed his orange-yellow eyes

"Oh shit"

Grace said and then suddenly a portal opened up outside of the facility and Derrick looked outside as Molad, Yira and Gabriel walked out of it

Molad and his associates looked up and saw Derrick through the window and Molad pointed right at him and Gabriel leaped from the ground up and was heading for the window

"Get back!"

Derrick said as Gabriel broke through the window and pushed Derrick back and Derrick flew backwards and went through lot's of tables and then Gabriel looked at Ifenyi and started walking close to him

"Where is the Arcandox?"

Gabriel asked him and as he almost got close to Ifenyi, he was shot right in the head by Grace but he regenerated immediately and as he wanted to attack them

Derrick blasted him with a blot of lightning

"Go!"

Derrick exclaimed at the humans and they ran off and was heading for the room the Arcandox was

"Why would a Mafia boss spend millions of dollars to get this strange artifact transported to this facility and then some supernatural beings are now after it"

Ifenyi asked as he and Grace where ruining towards the room where the Arcandox was

"Well that would be answered once we get outta this mess"

Grace said as they got to the room and opened up a box that was looked with some high tech password system but Ifenyi was able to open it up because he knew the passcode

He then took the Arcandox and as they were about to leave the room, Molad walked in on them and said

"Now where do you think you're going?"

"And you are?"

Grace asked as she was reaching for her gun

"Oh I wouldn't do that if I were you"
