15: cast dinner

I wake up to an arm wrapped around my waist and Maisie who's snuggled between mine and Rudy's chest I get off the couch without waking Maisie or Rudy I look around the living room I see the whole group is asleep , I walk into mine and Maisie's room to have a shower, get dressed brush my teeth and do my hair and makeup, once I've done that I walk back into the living room  seeing that mais is awake sitting up on the couch in the empty space from where I was sleeping before

Hey mais want to go get some breakfast I say and walk to her I pick her

Yes please mommy she says while rubbing her eyes I walk in the kitchen , I put Maisie on my hip then I start getting the plates, cutlery and cups along with Maisie's plate, cutlery and sippy cup out for breakfast I may as well cook the group breakfast too

What shall I make for breakfast mais I say looking at her sleepy face
Pancakes please mommy she says happily
Luckily there is the stuff for pancakes where I haven't been grocery shopping yet this week

I put mais down on the floor she goes to play with the toys I put out for her
I grab the ingredients and then start cooking the pancakes
Once I've finished cooking breakfast

I call maise then I give her hers then I put her at the dining table in the corner of the lounge

by the time I've plated, everyone else's food up they're already awake

good morning everyone I say smiling as I give them their pancakes I give rudy his last when I do I see a smile on his face when he looks at his breakfast I smile and look over to mais see her smiling and talking with the group we all must have fell asleep watching outer banks last night because nova and Dylan stayed over while shes eating her pancakes rudy goes over to her and kisses her on her forehead I smile as mais giggle I get my plate I walk over to the table I sit next to mais 

thanks lay for cooking breakfast for us all rudy says as everyone else says thanks

That's completely ok I had to make maisies breakfast anyway I say as I look towards mais whos singing frozen songs

I smile and continue eating we all have a conversation until mais is finished her food
I take mine and her dishes and wash them once I've finished washing them
I walk back into the dining room and see that mais is playing with Rudy and everyone else , I stand there watching them all interact it's nice seeing mais interact with her father I'm standing there until she sees me staring at her mommy says and runs towards

Hey Mais let's go get you ready for today I say and pick her up I can do that for you if you want Rudy says
It's ok you can help if you want to tho
Hey Layla we have a cast and crew dinner tonight at 5 pm if that's ok with you bails says
Yeah that's okay with me is it ok if mais come I say worried Incase she can't come because then I don't know what I'm gonna do
They will definitely be okay with Maisie coming drew says
I nod then we walk into my room while I'm holding mais in my arms
I put Maisie down then I make my bed I find Maisie's outfit while I see that she's showing Rudy her toys

Dada this is my teddy he's my favourite mais says
Yeah I'm glad you have a nice teddy that you love rudy says
Rudy do you want to dress Maisie for me please while I go get some water I say
Yeah that's ok isn't it Maisie moo he says tickling her I walk out of my bedroom into the kitchen I lean against the counter and feel a few tears fall down my cheek
I feel like I've taken away the most precious years of mais life away from Rudy I wish he was there for it I wish I tried harder to get in contact with him
