It's noon when Rudy and Layla found themselves at a cozy café across from the hotel they stayed at before they go back to Layla, my hearts beating a little faster than usual. We sat across from one another, both sipping our coffees as we contemplated the unspoken feelings between us.

"Rudy," I began, my voice gentle and sincere, "There's something I've been wanting to tell you. I hope you feel the same way, but I have feelings for you. Deep, genuine feelings that I can't ignore anymore. I want us to be more than just co-parents to Maisie, I'm just scared I say softly.

Rudy reaches across the table and takes my hand in his own, his touch reassuring and tender.

"Layla," he starts, his voice filled with warmth, "I feel the same way. Every moment we spend together, every laugh we share, it only makes me fall deeper in love with you. I used to think that Maisie was what brought us together, but I realize now that you two have become my everything. I want to explore what we can have together, just the two of us" ,Rudy takes my hands in his own, his eyes brimming with sincerity.

"Layla, from the first moment I met you on that beach in Ibiza ,I knew there was something special between us but I was too stupid to give you any way of contact, Your kindness, your strength, your beauty - they captivated me, and I've been falling in love with you all over again ever since we met again on that beach. You're more than just my the mother of my child, you're my best friend, my person, the person I want to wake up every morning and go to sleep every night knowing that I have you by my side. Please, be mine. I want to spend the rest of my life with you."

He caresses her hand gently, his eyes filled with hope and adoration.

My heart leaps at Rudy's words, I felt a rush of overwhelming emotion as Rudy speaks from the depths of his heart, the fear in my mind melting away. I squeeze his hand, my eyes shining with joy and relief. The glossy tears shining in the light of the cafe

"Rudy," i whisper, my voice filled with a mix of awe and love. "You have no idea how long I've wanted to hear you say those words, they touched me in a way I never thought was possible, I never imagined finding someone like you who would make me feel so alive, someone who would make my world spin, someone who would see all my flaws and love me still. I want nothing more than to build a life with you, to support you through both the easy and the challenging times. You have my heart since Ibiza, Rudy, and I want to give it to you forever. Yes, I'll be yours, now and always, I've been afraid to admit it to myself, but hearing those words from you..." my voice trails off, overwhelmed with emotion. "Rudy, I didn't expect any of this when we started co-parenting Maisie together like two months ago when you found out about her, but now I can't imagine my life without you in it. I want us to be a family, in every sense of the word. I love you, Rudy, more than I ever thought possible."

Rudy grins at my heartfelt declaration, he looks like heart is overflowing with joy.

"Layla, I love you too, with all my heart," Rudy says, his voice filled with affection. "Co-parenting Maisie with you has been an incredible journey, and I'm so glad we've found each other along the way."

He looks deeply into my eyes, his adoration evident. "This feels so right, being with you. I want to build a future with you, to make every day an adventure together. You and Maisie mean everything to me, and I can't wait to see what our future holds."

I feel my eyes well up with tears of happiness. I never imagined I would find love like this.

Rudy reaches out to gently wipe a tear away from the corner of my eye. "No tears, beautiful," he whispers, his voice filled with tenderness. "Let's make this official, Layla. Let's be a real family. I want to wake up next to you every morning and fall asleep by your side every night. Will you be my girlfriend?"

My heart skips a beat at Rudy's words, joy overflowing me.

"Rudy, yeah, as long as you promise if this doesn't work out it won't be weird and you'd never leave mais?" I say softly, my voice full of emotion. Rudy looks at me his eyes full of emotion, his voice shows he's serious when he says "I promise, you and Maisie will always be my priority."

I look at him, my eyes filled with emotion as I speak up "I would love to be your girlfriend. I want to experience all the joys and challenges of life together, hand in hand."

I lean in and give him a deep, passionate kiss, pouring all my love into that brief moment. As they pull away, my eyes shine with happiness.

"From now on," I say softly. My voice brimming with determination, "we're together, in all aspects of life."

Rudy smiles warmly at me, he looks like his heart is filled with joy. "Partners in all aspects, I love the sound of that," he says, gently stroking my cheek. "From parenting Maisie together to supporting each other's dreams and ambitions, we'll face everything together. I'm so thankful to have found you, Layla. I promise to cherish you every step of the way."

My heart beats faster as Rudy speaks, his words filling me with a mixture of joy and excitement. "Partners for life," my mind echos it, her voice filled with conviction.

I look into his eyes and smile, feeling a profound sense of gratitude and contentment. "You have no idea how grateful I am to have you in my life, Rudy. You've become my rock, my source of strength, and my endless source of happiness. I promise to support you in all your endeavors, to be your loyal companion, and to love you unconditionally every single day."

Rudy's face lights up he looked like his heart swelled with love as he listens to my words. He gently caresses my cheek, his touch warm and tender.

"Layla, you're everything to me. From the moment I met you, I knew there was something special about you," he says, his voice filled with affection. "But being your partner has shown me just how much deeper that connection truly runs. I vow to always be there for you, to uplift you when you're down, and to celebrate every triumph with you. Together, we'll forge a path full of love, laughter, and adventure."

My heart feels like it's about to burst from my chest when I lean in kissing him softly

Rudy returns the kiss, his lips meeting mine in a gentle, yet ardent embrace. He wraps his arms around me, pulling me closer to him from where we were sat on the booth of the coffee shop, our bodies molding together effortlessly. The world around us seems to fade away as we share this intimate moment, our love for each other palpable in the air.

Breaking the kiss as we decide we should leave the cafe and go to my apartment to save Rudy's parents from our child, we arrive back and I get changed after greeting Rudy's parents.

When I return I see Maisie smiling in Rudy's arms while he talks to his mom and dad
Making me smile

"Was she okay?" I ask his parents just as Maisie holds her arms out for me to hold her, his parents tell me how Maisie was for them, not long after Rudy's parents leave and Rudy puts on some spare clothes he has here, before sitting watching tv with me and Maisie
