Tony's suspicion grew as he stared at Peter.

"I was just..."

"I asked them to cover for me while I went on a mission," Natasha interrupted, walking into the room with Steve, "I know I was supposed to watch the kids after all."

Tony glanced at Natasha, then at Peter.

"Alright," Tony said, walking away.

Peter let out a breath of relief.

"Thanks, Aunt Nat," Peter said.

"Anytime, kid," Natasha smiled, going into the kitchen.

"Your fathers should be returning soon," Steve said, setting his shield on the couch.

Hope went up to him with a small smirk.

"No," Steve said immediately.

"C'mon," Hope said, "Please?"

"No, Hope," Steve said, shaking his head.

Hope gave a small pout, making Steve slowly break. He sighed deeply and sat down. Hope sat down next to him with an excited grin.

"What is it, this time," Steve asked.

She searched through her phone and pulled up her playlist. Then she handed him an earbud. Steve braced himself for the worst, but was thoroughly impressed. The song wasn't half bad.

"What is this," Steve asked.

"Heather by Conan Gray," Hope said.

Steve hummed as the song continued to play. Once it ended, he gave her the earbud back.

"Not bad, right," Hope asked.

"It was a really nice song," Steve confessed.

Hope gasped dramatically.

"Old man Steve likes my generation of music," Hope teased.

"Oh, please," Steve said, rolling his eyes, "I'm not that old."

"You're over 100," Hope said.

"And your father is over 1,000," Steve teased.

"At least my dad accepts that he's old as shit," Hope taunted.

"Watch your mouth," Steve scolded, watching Natasha sit down with a container of Chow Mein.

Jack chuckled lightly as the elevator opened again. Klaus and Dean stepped inside. Steve instantly got up to leave.

"You can't escape me forever, Steve," Klaus called out.

"Watch me," Steve said, turning the corner.

Dean turned to Jack and Hope.

"You two ready to go," Dean asked.

"Yep," Jack said, giving Peter a quick hug.

Hope also gave him a hug before they left.

"You can come out now," Peter said.

Steve cautiously stepped into view. He instantly noticed Natasha's judgmental gaze.

"What did I do?"

"You're an idiot," Natasha said, picking up her trash.
