Jason's pov

I get offstage soaking wet because of all the stupid rain that suddenly started pouring. But I played through the rain playing big green tractor and staring at the sun all while getting soaked to the bone. It actually made me think of when I was filming the video for the song the truth. I set my guitar down and grab a towel to dry off with. "Ya got some meet and greets to do." Mike calls. "I'm comin' let me just dry off." I reply. He nods and I change clothes, giving my girlfriend a kiss. "I've got some meet and greets then I'll be back." I say. She nods and waves. I head backstage to all the fans lucky enough to get a meet and greet. I stand in a corner of the room as the fans line up. First up a woman walks up and poses for a picture. "I heard about your recent divorce." She says. "I'm doing just fine, trust me." I reply, signing her CD. "I'm single if ya want." She says, making me smile. "I will assure you ma'am. I ain't single." I say.

*several minutes later*

A little five year old girl walks up, barely containing her excitement. It makes me smile to see fans of this age."well, hello little lady, what's your name?" I ask, bending down on one knee. "I'm Jana and this is my mom, my dad's watching my baby brother. I'm a big sister!" She cries excited. "I'm sure you're a great big sister." I say. She smiles real big and hands me a copy of old boots, new dirt, my newest CD. I sign it for her and take a picture with her. I stand back up. "I'm so glad I finally got her to meet you. She's been listening to you since she was in the womb." Her mom says, making me smile. "I love to see little kids being fans. It's just adorable. It makes me wish there wasn't so much swear words in my songs." I say. She laughs. "It's real funny actually when you cuss in your songs she says Mr.Aldean cussed." She says. We both laugh. "Here's the funniest part, her first word was Jason. She was asking me to put your music in." She says. "Wow, you're sure a die hard fan, Jana." I say, ruffling her hair. "Just renewed my Aldean army membership." She says, holding up a badge with my fan base's name and logo on it. I kneel down to her level again. "What's say I give you a couple tickets to my next show for you and your mom? Ya think that'll be fun?" I ask. She jumps up and down excited. I stand up. "I'll go get the tickets, you wait right there. Don't go anywhere." I say, smirking. I love making little kids so happy. I hear her telling her mom what I said. I grab two extra pit tickets with meet and greet necklaces. I walk back out and hand them to Jana. "OK, I'll see ya tomorrow right?" I ask. "Of course, I can't wait!" The little girl yells, hugging me. I stand up and wave as they leave. I head back to my tour bus. "How was meet and greets?" She asks as I open the door. "Great. I met a five year old fangirl. She went nuts when she saw me. I love having fans that young. Her mom said she's been listening to my music since the womb. I think she was exaggerating but hey, who knows. It was downright adorable. They've got meet and greets for the next show, you should come say hey. That little kid has read people magazine so she knows all about my breakup and us dating." I say. She smiles and stands up. "So she wants to meet the lucky girl dating the coolest hottest nicest country star in the business?" She asks in her flirty voice. "Yeah, I would say so." I reply, putting my arms around her. We share a long kiss then someone knocks on my bus door. I sigh and go to answer it. I open the door and it's Jana. "You left this." She says, handing me my phone. "Oh, uh, thanks. Does your mom know where you are?" I ask. She glances behind her and shakes her head. Having fun with Miranda will have to wait. I glance back at her. "Hey, honey. It seems Jana has wandered away from her mom. Ya wanna help find her with me?" I ask. She nods. She gets up and Jana's eyes go wide. "You must be the lucky lady." She says. I nod. "A very lucky lady indeed." She flirts, kissing my cheek. We head off in search of the little girl's mother. I spot her looking around desperately. "Hey, ma'am, I found her. She came to my bus!" I call. She sees us and a big smile comes to her face. She hugs Jana tight. "Thanks Jason." She says, hugging me. "No problem. I'll see you tomorrow." I say. Jana nods. "And no more escape attempts. I can't take in any more hostages!" I joke. The mom laughs but Jana just looks confused. We head back to my bus. "Now then, where were we?" I ask, closing the bus door. "Right between on cloud nine and the bus to get ya there." She says. "I think this bus'll do." I say, picking her up and kissing her. She puts her legs around my waist and her arms around my neck. I fall back onto the couch with her on my lap. Luke opens the door, ruining the moment. On tour, there's no privacy! I glare at Luke. "What do ya want?" I growl, ticked off. I have no idea how far that would've gone if Luke hadn't busted up in here. "Mike's lookin' for ya." He says. I sigh and lean my head on back. "Too many annoying people." I mutter frustrated. Luke leaves and she gets on her knees, her legs on either side of me now. "I wish I could just stay here." I say. She smirks and kisses me then stands up. "Then do it." She says. "Do what?" I ask, standing up. "Just stay here." She says with a laugh. "But Mike-" I start but she shuts me up with a kiss. She locks the door. "If he needs you, he can come get you." She whispers, pushing me back onto the couch. We share a deep magical kiss and a moment of bliss that I never want to forget.
