Jason's pov

We bring the babies home and get a second everything. I can't believe I've got a son! This'll be so cool! I was just starting to doze off when my phone buzzes. I pick it up and it's a message. How's your little whore?! What the fuck!? Who sent this?! Then I think. Only one person still does this shit. Jessica. I call the number. "Why the hell did you just text me that?!" "What? Didn't she just have the babies?" "Yes but she isn't a whore! You're the one who-" "Watch your mouth Jason, I'm not a girl you wanna fuck with!" "No you made that plenty clear when we were still married." I don't even wait for a reply. I hang up, delete the text, and block her number. "Jason!" Miranda calls. I get up after putting my phone on the charger and walk to the nursery. "What's up hun?" I ask. "Look at this!" She cries, handing me her phone. Hey whore, how are the babies? Fucking Jessica. I delete it and block the number. "It's just Jessica. She did it to me too." "I'm not a whore!" She gasps, crying. I hug her. "Of course not, sweetheart! She's just trying to hurt you. Don't give her the satisfaction of making you cry." "Y-Yeah you're right." She says, drying her tears. Luke comes over. I walk out to the living room. He smacks a beer bottle over my head. "Ow!" I gasp, rubbing my head. "And now you're ready for parenthood!" He says, laughing hysterically. I glare at him. "Hey idiot, did you forget? I already had kids before the twins!" "I know. I just needed an excuse to bust a beer bottle over your head." He says, still laughing. I punch him in the gut in annoyance. "Congratulations man." He strains to say, doubled over. I laugh and shake my head. The wife comes downstairs. "All the kids are asleep." "Yeah but for how long?" Luke says. "Hey Luke it's time to take your drunk ass home." I grumble, pushing him out the door. I close it and pick up the pieces from the broken beer bottle. After that's done, Miranda walks over to me and kisses me. "My life is perfect." She whispers. "I'm glad we had kids together." My hands slip up under her shirt and she smiles. "Let's keep burnin' it down." She says, winking. I laugh and pick her up, her legs wrapping around my waist as we make out and I carry her upstairs.
