POV Marinette:

I was standing in my place, watching my ex husband and my ex best friend sucking faces in the other side of the road. Luka's face had some pads almost everywhere,  and he had a cast in his right arm. I'm sure that Adrien beat him really good

I was looking at them with tears, and sad eyes to see Lila having all my past life for her, my house, my husband and everything

I was feeling so much pain, looking at them but suddenly Adrien grabbed my hand and pulled me toward him, he rested my head on his chest, and wrapped his arms around me

Adrien: damn, at least he has a broken arm and nose, look at the bandage around his face and he still kissing? He should be thankful to Nino, or he would be on his surgery's table now. Nino told me he got a broken arm and nose, but for me wasn't enough

Marinette: y-yeah

Adrien: don't look at them, they belong to your past now

Marinette: she gave him what I couldn't give him. he promised me that he will be always with me in good and bad time

Adrien: It's about who was honest, not who promised and left. Fuck both of them, they don't deserve you at all, they lost an amazing person

Marinette: are they still kissing?

Adrien: yes, let's go to work. Working will help you to forget and also baby Emma is still there, she can help you. play with her

When I nodded, Adrien grabbed my and we walked to the hospital holding hands then he walked me to my office

Adrien: you will be fine, I promise you

Marinette: y-yes, I will visit baby Emma

Adrien: want me to come with you?

Marinette: you have a lot of work, and don't worry, I'm fine

I said as I grabbed his hand and faked a smile to show him, I'm fine but Adrien just cupped my face and brushed his thumbs on my cheeks

Adrien: I know you aren't; I can see that fake smile. He is living his life and enjoying every moment, so why are you sad for someone who doesn't care about you? you should live for yourself now

Marinette. I...... I'm going to see Emma then ill ask them to give me two days to rest

Adrien: ok princess, take care of yourself. You will have to go home before me, so here another key for my house, I should check Emma before I go back home ok princess?

Marinette: w-when are you going to be home?

Adrien: maybe at 7, and ill bring something to eat. just rest or have a hot bath and if you need me, just call me, I have a busy day today because I have two surgeries and checking on baby Emma

Marinette: take your time, see you

My best friend kissed my cheek then he left to work. I didn't have any work in the morning, I don't even want to work. I just went to where is baby Emma. I found her in her little bed, with a nurse with her

Marinette: can I take over? Adrien sent me

Nurse: sure, just tell me when to go back to her
