I really think there's just three more chapters to come before the epilogue so I'm so reluctant to write the end that maybe I'll take more time to update than usually....

Also, I have this new story that I've just started writing that is called ''Bad Boy Meets Bad Girl'' so, check it out: http://www.wattpad.com/story/4750465-bad-boy-meets-bad-girl  The name may sound cliché but I'll add some originality to it..

Chapter 25

[NOT EDITED]

There was just one week left until the Project Presentation and I was a pile of nerves. Everything had to be perfect or else I would never be considered to join the company.

They were expecting so much of me and I was afraid they wouldn't like my choreography. I've changed so many movements since the beginning of the semester. The dance was, at first, all street style but when I started rehearsing with Noah, he made me realise it would work better if we did hip hop.

I agree that he was right and I liked it so much better now. But what if I was wrong?

"A penny for your thoughts?" I heard someone talking to me and lifted my chin to meet Gabriel's gaze.

"I'm just thinking about the project." I told him, sighing.

"You know you'll do fine." He said, taking a seat in front of me. I was in the cafeteria waiting for Noah to join me.

"Fine isn't enough, Gabe." I said and took a sip of my orange juice.

"You'll be perfect. Satisfied?" He asked and smiled to me. I smiled back. We were trying friendship now. After Noah and I decided to let people know we were together, Gabriel was pissed.

He thought I've began dating 'Peter Johnson' when we were going out so I had to explain to him how it all worked. But of course I didn't tell him the whole story.

With time, he got used to it and now we could hang out with no awkwardness.

I sighed once more. I guess I've been doing this a lot lately. "How are you?" I asked, trying to stop thinking about the project.

"Funny you ask. I'm having a hard time these days." Gabriel said. He didn't look sad or mad at all, so I was confused.

"What's going on?" I asked.

"There's this girl." He said and I could see he was embarrassed. "I shouldn't be talking about this with you." He laughed and shook his head.

"Come on, you made me curious!" I encouraged him.

"She's in the company and I'm dying to ask her out." He said and I raised a brow. Who was this girl? She was lucky, for sure.

"So, ask her. Done!" I told him and he chuckled.

"Not that easy." Gabe said and I waited for him to explain. "We're dancing together in the Annual Show."

"And?" I asked, not seeing the point in it. At least now I knew who the girl was: Hazel Adams, the girl I met in the contest and who just got accepted in the company, as a senior student!

"What if it doesn't work? Like it didn't work between us. We would still have to dance in the show and it would be just awkward." He said not stopping even to catch a breath.

"Gabe, we didn't work because I have trouble." I said, emphasizing the 'I'. "And you'll never know if you don't try. You're just scared."

"I'm scared?" He asked, surprised with my statement.
