Chapter 29
[ANNTONELLA'S POV]
Two days. Two days was all I had before the project presentation. My choregrography was ready, finally, but I knew that it wasn't half as good as the old one. I could still get a good grade by doing some hard movements but the company wouldn't be so impressed by that.
And now that Noah was back, things were going from bad to worse. People were gossiping about our break up and he didn't show up for any of the classes he was supposed to. According to Brianna it was because he had to rehearse for the big show in the Annual Show. I didn't buy that, though.
"Are you really fine?" Mila asked me as we ate lunch in the cafeteria. She was still worried about me since Noah returned here and would ask if I was okay everytime.
"I'm getting there. It's just hard in the beginning but I've gone through this once, I can make it twice." I explained. She wouldn't fall for a ''yes or no'' answer.
"I can still beat him up if you want." Avery showed up and sat by our sides.
"She'll be fine. Right, Ann?" Brianna asked with a half smile that lightened up my mood and raised her eyebrows at Avery. These couple of days she's been the one to comfort me most. She wasn't sending me the pity look or the 'I know it was going to happen' look either.
I smiled at them and finished my salad, then got up and grabbed my bag from the floor. "See you guys later. Gotta rehearse." I told them and turned away to leave.
"Which room are you using?" Brianna asked me before I could start walking.
"305, why?" I told her.
"The auditorium is free if you want. I thought I was going to need it so I set an hour." She told me and I raised a brow.
"You're not going to need it?" I asked, just to be sure. It would be much better to rehearse on the stage I was going to present.
"No, you can use it." She assured me and I nodded, than went on my way to the auditorium.
People were staring at me in the hallways and I tried hard to ignore them. The fan girls who were jealouss of me before were now laughing at me and I could tell for sure that soon I would see some of them throwing themselves at Noah. I know I would die inside when this happened but I would have to be strong.
So as I walked in the auditorium the place was dark and I could barely walk in there, so I had to find where to turn the lights on.
The piano was situated in the middle of the stage and I sighed deeply, knowing that it would be up to myself to remove it from there if I decided to use the complete space.
