Chapter 17
I didn't want to get up at all. It was saturday after all and I had every right to be in bed since I danced as hell this week.
But I had to. It was almost 11am and I was too curious to go look after Brianna so I would know what happened when I left her with Avery in the restaurant.
I seated and sighed deeply trying to convince myself that I didn't need to sleep anymore. It's just I had this weird dream in the middle of the night so I woke up and it took too long to fall asleep again.
In my dream I was on stage and all the lights were on me. I danced and I could feel the warmness coming from the audience. They liked what they saw.
But suddenly everyone disappeared and I was the only one left there. No more lights, no more music, no more audience. It was only me on the stage staring at empty seats.
I started screaming names. Some of them were unknow but I remember screaming my dad's name.
He wouldn't be there to watch me dance this time. And yes, I would feel as if there was no one there.
'Okay, now get your ass out of bed!' I said out loud and got up.
"Don't tell me you came back to that habit of yours of talking to yourself." Mila appeared in the room suddenly and I jumped in surprise. I guess I was still asleep.
"Shoot! You scared me to death." I complained and she shrugged.
"I'm here to tell you that you need to go to Mr. Nigel on Monday... He left a note" She said and sat on my bed giving me a piece of paper
"Did he come bere?" I asked before reading the paper. It was unnusual of him to go to the student's dorms.
"Yeap." She answered.
'Anntonella,
I was hoping to talk to you about something . Please go to my office Monday noon.
Nigel.'
That was weird! What was that he'd like to talk to me about that he couldn't leave on a note?
"So? What's it saying?" Mila asked with a raised brow.
"Only to meet him on Monday." I told her also confused. "I have no idea what this is about." I said more to myself and went to the bathroom so I could look more presentable before going to Brianna's dorm which was in the other side of the building.
---
Mila didn't come with me because she needed to go to the hair saloon for some unknown reason.
So when I was almost getting to Brianna's dorm I sent her a text.
'Anntonella: please say you're not mad at me? :x'
'Brianna: I am, actually.'
'Anntonella: can we talk?'
Not good... Not good at all. What if I screwed things up even more? They would be fine as friends if I hadn't done anything. If they had a fight it was my fault!
'Brianna: come over here, already!!'
'Anntonella: if I can go there does that mean u'r not THAT mad?'
'Brianna: nope. but it does mean u'll need 2 explain!'
By this time I was already at her door so I just knocked.
