I was surprised when Ren asked me for my number.
I put it in adding my name and a heart at the end then I send a text to myself so I can add him later. I gave him a wave and headed into the building.
I took a seat near a window taking out my needed stationary for the class while others filed in. Two minutes later my professor Mr. Nottingham came in and English class started.
"Good afternoon class today we'll resume the topic of-"

I had just come through the door of the café when my phone pinged.

I quickly replied, saving his number.

I immediately regretted typing that. Why do I always do or say embarrassing things around him?
Mr. Grumpy 💫: nothing's up bro. I've got a question. Go on a date with me on Saturday around 10-ish a.m.?

"What's got our little June blushing?" Sheila asks, peering over my shoulder. That get's Miles attention. "Is it who I think it is" He asking giving a suggesting look
I give a single nod. I'm sure I resemble the color of a tomato right now.

Me: What should I wear?
That was normal enough right?
Mr. Grumpy 💫: Anything
Me: So what if I chose to dress up as Harley Quinn for our date🤔🤔🤔
Mr. Grumpy 💫: well then it'll just make it more interesting
Me: Sooo are you going to tell me where we're going for our date on Saturday or do I guess?
Mr. Grumpy 💫: Nope I'd like to remain aloof. My lips are sealed 🤐
I frown slightly. I wanted to wear the right attire for the occasion, buut I do like surprises
Just then I heard Shelia's voice "JUNE I NEED A HAND HERE"
"COMING, ONE SEC"
Me: Okay Mr. Grumpy. bye gtg
I sent a cute GIF then shoved my bag and phone in my locker and hurried over to help Sheila. I'd put on my proper Café attire when I'm finished

I helped take orders with Miles and Shelia for the evening at the café
7:00pm approached signalling the end of my shift. I waved goodbye to Miles and Sheila heading back to the dorms after they insisted I go home since they've got it covered.
