Today unfortunately I have to go on campus for a test. Unfortunately-er I have to sit in a room filled with people for 1 whole hour.
An introverts worst nightmare. My worst nightmare.
If I want to heal I got to take big steps.
I can do this.

It's only one hour. One long hour, filled with people I haven't seen in over a year. People that will no doubt whisper and gossip once I step through the doors of that room.
I totally, really don't got this.
A vibration from my watch tells me I have received a message.

As I read his message I chuckle. He knows me well. I open my other message from sunshine. I changed her name from June Bug to Sunshine a while ago coz it fits.

Sunshine 💗: I have a surprise waiting for you outside.
My brows furrow as I re-read the message. I flew down the stairs abruptly stopping, pepping through the peep hole at our front door. My 5 '3 girl stands outside looking aimlessly waiting for the door to be opened.
I had to clam myself down making sure I didn't look like I raced down the stairs like my sleep paralysis demon was hunting me. Calmly I open the door with a grin on my face. Looking at June made my heart flutter like some high school boy seeing his crush for the first time. My grin develops into a goofy smile as she wraps her arms around my torso even though they don't fully reach.
She looks at me through her thick lashes "Kiss?" she asks
I don't hesitate to place a kiss to her lips. She tasted like strawberry.
Today she dressed in a black High neck-long sleeved top and dark grey denim skirt paired with black converse. It was different from her usual colorful clothing. She looked totally badass in her outfit.
I gently pulled her inside, my hand not leaving hers for a second.
June P O V
I stand at the door waiting for it to be opened. I figured Mr. and Mrs. Young weren't home since their car wasn't in the driveway.
The opened revealing Ren looking at me in surprise and a grin on his face. His grin turns into a goofy smile and I can't help but return it as I wrap my arms around his torso. I giggle looking up at him through my lashes "Kiss?"
He doesn't hesitate, bending slightly, kissing my lips. My body feels tingly every time it happens. He pulled us both inside not lettings our conjoined hands disconnect.

'I came to wish you good luck on your test, and don't let peoples looks or whispers get to you.' I sign
A breathy chuckle escapes his lips "Jokes on them, I'm deaf so it doesn't matter if they whisper or not"
I shake my head, a small chuckle emitting from me. I bask in the moment I have with Ren feeling everything around us blur before eventually we had to pull away. As much as I'd like to stay like this with him he'll be late if he doesn't leave soon.
It seems like he remembers that too because he reluctantly pulls away retreating his bag and keys re-joining me in the hall way.
I admire his features as he double checks for everything he needs. Messy tame-ish dark brown hair, sharp and soft features, tall frame. I swear my bo- he looks like a model at times.
He's dressed in light grey sweatpants, dark blue polo neck sweater with a white T-shirt underneath and Nike shoes. We both walk out the door to his car hand in hand.

"Are you sure you don't want me to drop you off sunshine?, We still have time"
He says for the dozenth time. 'Ren I will be fine. I will take a cab and go home and once your finished i'll come back and meet you right but the fountain over there with... a surprise'
"surprise?"
'Yes. Like a congrats you did it kind of surprise' I sign with a grin
I held his nervous hands in mines going up on my tippy toes planting a kiss on his cheek and one on his lips. "You got this"
