Ren P O V
June was sitting on a wooden chair holding a book in her small hands, the glass window located on the side of her bedroom allowed sunlight to enter the room and illuminate her soft features.
Honey coloured eyes were fixated on the tiny words.
Auburn hair held in a messy bun on top of her head, she pushed a stray strand behind her ear as the stray piece disturbed her vision.
I watched her peacefully reading, skimming through the book squinting her eyes every other minute. I know she hasn't noticed me standing by the door yet. Too engrossed in her book to notice. Iron Flame, her newest book we picked up from book shopping last weekend.
I'll admit I'm kind of tiny, tinsy, bit jealous I have to compete with a book that's stealing all her attention.
Soo what do I do?

her
Quietly I walk up behind her effortlessly lifting her off the chair spinning her around so she'd face me.
"Hi" I say softly, leaning down a bit.
"Hi yourself"
"Enjoying the book?"
"very"
"Your dad wants your help downstairs. He's having trouble with the ingredients"
She chuckles "Lets go help him then" Grasping her tiny hand in my own we descend downstairs towards the kitchen.
June P O V
I finally got my hands on the second book to Fourth Wing, gotta say this is one of my favourite reads. Then again the majority of books I've read became my favourites.
Just as I was about to flip the page a yelp escaped my lips as my boyfriend hoisted me off the chair.
He didn't even let me finish the last sentence.
"Hi"
"Hi yourself"
There was a short pause before he spoke again "Enjoying the book?"
"Very"
"Your dad wants your help downstairs. He's having trouble with the ingredients"
I chuckle at that.
Sooner or later I was expecting him to call me to assist. I'm surprised he lasted half an hour. "Lets go help him then" I Grasp Ren's hand in my own, leading him out of my room to the kitchen.
I meet papa in the kitchen looking kind of distressed. Papa is a person who tends to keep certain emotions under lock and key. Seeing him this way is a first.
"Dad. Need help?"
"Yes. I can't get the sauce right"
I wash my hands then dry them on the kitchen towel, I pick up the spoon tasting the sauce simmering over the stove.
