Hongjong || Seonghwa

I was extremely tried, staying awake was becoming harder than I thought. My sightly wet hair was giving me a headache with all the cold outside.

I went around cleaning tables after welcoming the usual morning rush. Today it seemed to be a little more crowded than usual, and for some odd reasons, most customers wanted me to take care of their orders and table for them.

They seemed a little friendly but to be frank, I was in no mood to make friends. I was too exhausted to notice any signs sent my way and just brought their drinks and cleaned up for them as they were done.

My shift was soon done and I went back to change into my comfortable clothes, I changed the band aids on my fingers softly placed a black mask on and a pair of glasses. I took my bag realizing I had left a good amount of my books back at school.

I sighed slamming my head against my locker softly before finally deciding to leave heading to school, I ate a little piece of bread drinking some black coffee zoning out as I walked.

My hands were still trembling, and I understood it was normal at this point. I haven't been eating well, recently I have ben soaked in freezing water, and I hadn't gotten any sleep for a while.

Its a miracle I could even walk anymore.

I rubbed my eyes in an attempt to wash my sleep away as I walked through the school gates heading to my locker to get my books in place, and pick up what I needed.

I knew I looked horrendous, probably why many were whispering about my appearance in the hallways. I could hear them harshly comment on the way my hair looked wet, the way my clothes weren't straightened and looked a bit uncomfortable for anyone to wear.

I wondered why.

I guess nobody could really guess I had been locked in the bathroom for the whole night then had to run to my first shift early in the morning after a janitor luckily decided to check around before opening up.

They wouldn't guess that, it just sounds too cruel and extreme for anyone to do. But hey, all they have been doing to me has been cruel and extreme. This was just another one of their "jokes" apparently.

As my hands were trembling trying to put my stuff down in the locker while staying awake, I hadn't realized that the same 4 guys that made me go through that yesterday have been watching me from afar.

And as hard as it is to believe a sense of guilt was washing over them as they watched me shake on my own.

I coughed softly fixing the mask once more with my hands as I closed my locker a little going down to fill my bag with the books I'd be using today.

I soon walked away still coughing feeling hot, I knew I had a high fever by now. I ignored it as I head to my class trying not to fall asleep afraid something like yesterday would happen to me.

I sat at the back of the class waiting for everyone to come, along with the teacher as I looked down picking at my nails. I didn't have another way to kill time. I refused to use my phone, unless it was urgent because seeing those harsh messages pop up was slowly getting to me.

I looked out the window not saying much as I continued to pick at my nails until it started bleeding again. I stared at it for a while before sighing going through my pocket taking out a band aid, softly putting it on my nail trying to be as steady as possible.

Weirdly though, those guys hadn't bothered me much today. I was grateful for the sudden peace, I just hopes it lasts long.

But I was still afraid. I was worried they'd come back with an even worse way of making me wish I wasn't alive. I began to pick at my nail again worried deciding that at some point, I should talk to them.
