Hongjong || Seonghwa
As we watched the two take Seonghwa deeper into the forest, I realized something was definitely wrong.
"Fresh air? Seriously?"
Yeosang said as he looked at us.
"Guys something is wrong with his parents. He has been outside for the whole day, what more fresh air does he need? Plus.. The forest is the last place I'd take for fresh air."
He said glancing at us. He was right. Even I couldn't deny it, something was fishy. It was making me uneasy.
"What do we do now? I don't want to be that guy but if in any case his parents were to be mean, which I hardly believe, then having him do anything to him under our watch would be bad news for us."
Yunho said hands in his pocket, he didn't seem to be worried about Seonghwa literally, it was just that he didn't want to get in any issues because of this.
I sighed looking at Yunho before ruffling my hair. We kept standing there saying nothing as I simply kicked the ground under my feet before wooyoung spoke.
"Was I.. too rough on him?"
We all looked up at him, the question seemed quite unnecessary. We were all rough on him, that was the point of today: Satisfy our anger by hurting him more.
Then why did none of us feel that same satisfaction we longed for these past months?
Was it the way he begged?
I shook my head not wanting to think of it, thinking back at his words, I don't think any of us could ever forgive themselves if the photos did turn out to be fake.
In that case, Seonghwa would've been wronged by everyone. Especially us.
"Well of course we were rough that was the point Woo."
I replied to him as I ruffled my hair before saying.
"Whether it was the right thing or not, what's bad is done. We've basically ruined his life. There is no point in feeling guilty. Remember he.. betrayed us."
I saw the couple last words with hesitance. I, no longer, felt confident with that thought. I took a deep breath soon realized Yeosang was heading the same way the family took earlier.
"Woah- Yeosang where are you going?"
He stopped and looked back at me clearly not wanting to speak to me but he still responded.
"I have a bad feeling about this alright? Again, I know I have no right to worry about him after all I've watched you do to him today. But it's just.."
Yeosang stopped talking. He didn't find the words to explain himself but it was easy for someone else to do. San.
"Something feels off?"
San said looking at Yeosang as the latter nodded back to him.
"I have a bad feeling about this guys. I need to check on him. Even if it's for a bit-"
"He should be fine. His parents are always affecting with him. Don't let his tears fool you. It's understandable for him to cry, we ruined his project."
Yunho spoke up which made Yeosang scoff. I simply shacked my head. I've have enough with their fights.
"Fine you know what. Let's settle this for once and for all. Let's go check on him, that's the only way we can answer all our questions alright?"
I suggested, they seemed to glance at each other and soon before we know it we were already sneaking trying to spot the family.
Soon enough, Yeosang walking upfront stopped and hid slowly behind a tree. We all followed and eventually managed to spot the reason behind Yeosang's hiding.
