Hongjoong || Seonghwa
I felt the gentle warmth of the sun just starting to peek through the curtains, casting a soft glow across the room. It was early, around 5 am, and as I began to stir, I felt the familiar presence of Hongjoong wrapping around me.
His arms encircled my bare stomach, his touch gentle yet insistent. I could feel his breath against my ear as he whispered, "Seonghwa, it's time to wake up."
A smile tugged at my lips, and I stretched slightly, enjoying the feel of his hands on me. This had become our little routine, a cherished part of our mornings together.
He nuzzled closer, his nose brushing the back of my neck, sending a shiver down my spine. "Come on, sleepyhead," he murmured, his voice soft and coaxing. "We need to catch the sunrise."
Reluctantly, I opened my eyes, the world slowly coming into focus. The promise of a new day always felt special when we shared these moments.
I turned slightly to face him, his eyes bright with that infectious energy of his. "Okay, okay," I mumbled, my voice still heavy with sleep. "I'm up."
Hongjoong then sat up as well and wrapped his arms around my waist, looking up at me with that irresistible smile of his. He puckered his lips in that adorable way, silently asking for a kiss.
I couldn't help but chuckle, leaning down to press a soft kiss to his lips. His smile widened, and I moved back, ruffling his hair affectionately.
He held my hand as we made our way to the bathroom. The morning light streamed through the small window, casting a gentle glow over the room. We stood side by side at the sink, each grabbing our toothbrushes and beginning our morning routine.
We brushed our teeth in sync, occasionally bumping elbows and sharing amused glances. Hongjoong, always efficient, finished first. He rinsed his mouth and applied a quick layer of sunscreen. I was still in the midst of my routine, meticulously going through each step.
As I massaged moisturizer into my skin, Hongjoong came up behind me, wrapping his arms around my waist once more. He laid his chin on my shoulder, watching me through the mirror with a contented smile. I could feel his breath against my neck, a gentle reminder of his presence.
"You're always so thorough," he teased softly, his eyes crinkling with amusement.
I smiled back at him in the mirror, finishing with my moisturizer before moving on to my sunscreen. "Someone has to keep us looking good," I replied, my tone light and playful.
Hongjoong's fingers traced small circles on my stomach as he watched me. When I started massaging my puffy face, he began to place gentle pecks along my neck, each kiss making me smile a little more.
"You're perfect, you know that?" he whispered against my skin.
I turned my head slightly to look at him, our eyes meeting in the mirror. "And you're perfect for always reminding me," I said, my voice filled with affection.
As I finished my routine and turned around, I found Hongjoong waiting patiently. I wrapped my arms around his neck, drawing him close. Our lips met in a gentle kiss, a quiet moment of intimacy in the early morning. We kissed for a while, losing ourselves in the simplicity of the moment. Eventually, I pulled back, pecking his cheek affectionately.
"Let's get dressed," I said, smiling as I led him to our closet.
We rummaged through our clothes, looking for the perfect outfits for our morning jog. It was cold and possibly snowy outside, so we needed to bundle up. I pulled out a cozy sweater and a pair of warm joggers, slipping them on quickly.
