Love. In the end it's the most powerful magic of all. Reese kept her word, when the time came for the supreme to end her reign, she was right there by her side...

I sit beside her as she breathes irregularly and I know the time is near. Tears stream down my face as if they'll never end and I stare so intensely at her chest as though it will be enough to will her back to a healthy state. She told me that she needed to fully pass in order for things to remain as they should be.

I protested heavily when she first proposed this weeks ago, not knowing if I'd be strong enough to bring her back. Yet it was not my choice, nor a 'proposal, at all. It was a boundary—a last wish—and I'd be damned if I didn't keep it but I wasn't happy by any means. I've spent every day since then indulging in a diet consisting only of blood.

I was sick as a dog for the first few days as it was a shock to my body but I knew it would make me stronger. I needed to be as strong as possible, both physically and mentally, so that I could help her. I notice her chest stops rising and I stop breathing, waiting for it to rise again but it never does. I want to cry, to scream, to curse the heavens, but I must keep myself together for her.

I lean down and bite her neck, whispering an apology for the pain; even though I know she can't feel it. The girls come rushing up and I assume the next supreme has risen. I look amongst them and realize it's Zoe. I spent enough time around the aura to know exactly how it feels. I smile sadly, proud of her but not being able to express it.

She nods understandingly and they all glance over to Delia, including me. Nothing has changed. She still lays lifeless before all our eyes but I continue to hope, to pray to a god I don't believe in. Just as I was about to call it, she gasps and her eyes fly open. She sits up abruptly with her hand on her chest and stares ahead for a moment.

The girls clear the room, thankfully giving us a minute and she turns to me with slightly glowing eyes. I'm not alarmed, it's normal for newly turned vampires. "Welcome back, baby" I whisper with a tearful smile...

Reese of course had to show her the ropes, teaching her how to control her urges. She took her to the Cullen's for a few days just to be safe. Also allowing her to become accustomed with her newly gained speed. She adjusted rather quickly, being human for longer than most was an advantage. Not to mention the help of the experienced ones around her was a plus.

Upon arriving back they were able to slow down her intake of blood, implementing human food back into her diet little by little until she was practically back to normal. As a witch, she certainly didn't enjoy killing animals but it became a way of life just like everything else. She rejoined in the administrative side of things, finally being able to fairly balance the load with someone.

If you asked her what her favorite part of her new form was? Well, she'd probably say the sex if she was honest. It was incredible, mind-blowing even. Though she would tell you it was being able to run so fast. The couple was able to travel much easier and they certainly did just that. They went all around the world together and once that was done—they did it again with the same excitement as the first.

Needless to say, they lived the rest of their eternity together in complete bliss.
