The sun rose solemnly from the rippling and bright sea.
Most of the day was still blue, very gentle and blue.
The sea gently licked the coast, whispering softly.
Kakashi lay on the empty ground of the coast, shaking his head and muttering.
"Obito... Obito...! It's not like this!"
Kakashi, who was sweating profusely, sat up from his nightmare, panting heavily, along with the exclamations.
The clear waves reflected the golden sunlight, causing Kakashi to cover his eyes subconsciously.
"Is it a dream?" Kakashi muttered something. He was stunned, and his eyes drooped slightly.
He noticed Rin lying peacefully on the ground not far away.
The rock beneath him had been dyed crimson red.
Kakashi couldn't help but tremble, and his eyes were drawn to the Mangekyo Sharingan.
His fists were clenched, his lips were dry and white, and his eyes were filled with faint red tears.
It was not a dream. It was true.
Kakashi appeared to think of something. He stood up and looked around, putting down his hand that was blocking the sunlight.
The moist, slightly warm breeze brushed against his face like silk.
There was no one else here besides himself and Rin's bodies.
Obito and the other members of the Hidden Mist Group had all vanished.
As he remembered, Kakashi lowered his head, reached out, and rubbed his brow, frowning.
'In my dream, I felt someone standing beside me.'
'Is that Obito?'
'The enemy's body was also missing; had Obito taken it away?'
'Obito may not have taken Rin's body away so that he could bring her back to Konoha to be buried.'
Kakashi opened his mouth and took a deep breath after some thought. He swallowed hard, attempting to suppress his grief.
He hobbled over to Rin.
He got down on his knees.
Trembling, he took out a storage scroll from his storage bag and stored Rin's corpse inside.
