Uchiha Madara was able to identify the voice's direction this time. He seemed to be able to see through the darkness with his straight eyes.

He yelled vehemently, "Who is it! Cough cough—"

Step, step, step.

There was a crisp sound of footsteps.

In obscurity, a couple of red and charming Mangekyo Sharingan illuminated.

Following, Uchiha Tonan, who was wearing a dark overcoat, left the dark corridor.

However, when Uchiha Tonan observed Uchiha Madara's expression, he noticed that his excitement mixed with some nervousness and some anticipation.

This was... Mangekyo.

Uchiha Madara gave Uchiha Tonan a grave look as he stared straight into his eyes.

He knew more than anyone else how potent these eyes were.

Uchiha Madara said in a low voice, "Able to avoid perception and sneak in here," when he saw Uchiha Tunan walking toward him.

"Moreover, you have also opened your Mangekyo Sharingan."

"You must be Uchiha Tonan."

Uchiha Tonan quickly approached Uchiha Madara and stood in front of him, ignoring Obito's weak breath on the ground.

He bowed deeply and shook his head with an apologetic expression, "I accidentally overheard your conversation with Obito just now."

"You... are really my ancestor."

"Uchiha Madara, huh?"

Uchiha Madara took a gander at Uchiha Tonan who was deferential to him and said briskly,

"Kid, put away your disguise."

Uchiha Tonan was briefly taken aback. Then, with a confused expression, he raised his head and asked, "Disguise? What disguise?"

Uchiha Madara gave a cold chuckle. When he said, "A long time ago, I started to notice you," his eyes were icy.

"At first, I thought you were a talented and kind clansman."

"Nevertheless, I considered you."

"But, I heard all that you did in the Fire Nation."

"You are extremely cruel. You killed your companion with your own hands."

Uchiha Tonan was staggered when he heard this, and his demeanor unexpectedly turned into somewhat desolate.

He brought down his head and grasped his clench hands, as though he had experienced an extraordinary complaint and misconception.

After quite a while, Uchiha Tonan took a full breath, raised his head, and constrained a miserable grin all over.

"You're talking about that...

"Grandpa Madara, you misunderstood me."

Uchiha Tonan walked to Uchiha Madara's seat.

He reached out and placed his hands on his shoulder.

Uchiha Madara felt a huge pressure on his shoulder.

He gave up resisting and was pressed down by Uchiha Tonan on his seat.

Uchiha Tonan gently pinched Uchiha Madara's shoulder.

He said with a befuddled articulation,

"There is an extremely profound justification for this, truth be told."
