Crisp footsteps echoed down the dark spiral stairway.

When Uchiha Tonan arrived at the subterranean, he noticed that the underground laboratory was dark.

"It's me."

The lights in the basement laboratory were turned on and promptly lit up as soon as he finished speaking.

He noticed Hatake Kabuto emerge from the corner and kneel deeply to Uchiha Tonan, both hands on his knees.

"Sir, you are back."

"Your alertness is not bad," Uchiha Tonan commented with a satisfied nod.

"Let me first examine your assignment."

Hearing this, Hatake Kabuto nodded and accompanied Uchiha Tonan to the appropriate passage.

That was where Hatake Kabuto went to rest and study.

After all, Hatake Kabuto did not dare to touch anything in the laboratory or materials room when Uchiha Tonan was not present.

It was unnecessary for Uchiha Tonan to remind him of this, because Hatake Kabuto was a clever person.

They entered Kabuto's room and discovered that, other from the bed and table, the only thing left was books.

The walls were carved with human body blueprints, which Hatake Kabuto apparently engraved during the human learning process to make it simpler to recall.

The entire room was spotless, and the air was even fragrant with the smell of tea.

"Googoo!"

The white pigeon that had been sitting on the table saw Uchiha Tonan's reappearance.

He exclaimed in joy and leaped onto Uchiha Tonan's shoulder, rubbing his head against Uchiha Tonan's cheek.

Uchiha Tonan smiled adoringly as he stroked the white pigeon's feathers.

"How can you carve this thing on the wall?" he murmured lightly, looking at the blueprints of the human body on the wall.

Hatake Kabuto raised his gold-rimmed spectacles and explained,

"I recently tried to determine the best meridian route for me while improving my chakra."

"The meridian passage along the wall had been reinforced."

"I discovered this while the chakra was circulating in my body."

"The purification impact was likewise distinct in each location after passing through the different flow of time."

"This place where the line was etched represented a faster flow of time."

"That location where the line was carved was where time moved more slowly."

"This was easy for me to remember."

Uchiha Tonan has never depended on his own abilities to develop chakra.

This was the first time he'd seen anything resembling a cultivation method.

He was immediately intrigued and gazed at it with delight. He gave a satisfied nod and said,

"You appear to have been working very hard recently."

Hatake Kabuto gave a slight smile and continued, "I want to grow up quickly and help you do things."

Uchiha Tonan cast a peek at Hatake Kabuto.

The corners of his mouth curled slightly upward. "Is it all gone?"
