After finishing dinner, I settled in to watch TV, while Jisso Unnie retreated to her room, busy preparing for her biology exam the next day. Meanwhile, my own exams were looming, but I hadn't even cracked open a book yet. Feeling guilty, I eventually turned off the TV, yawning, and headed to my room.
After freshening up, I resolved to tackle my assignments, donning my glasses and sitting at my desk. I dived into my chemistry workbook, supplementing my studies with online resources on YouTube. However, the complex formulas and numerous chemicals left me perplexed. I couldn't help but laugh at my own struggles, shaking my head in disbelief. "It takes me a week to remember just one formula!" I thought, chuckling wryly to myself.
As I sat at my desk, something caught my attention, and I couldn't help but gaze at those piercing eyes. I felt an inexplicable pull, and my mind wandered to Sejeong's words: "Did I really fall in love at first sight?" I rose from my seat, my heart racing, and hastily retrieved a paper from my cupboard. I sat back down, my hands moving involuntarily as I began to draw.
Time stood still as I poured my thoughts onto the paper, my hands refusing to stop until I finally paused, awestruck by what I had created. The eyes I had drawn seemed to stare back at me, their depths like the ocean's. I was entranced, my soul whispering to my heart, "Him."
I couldn't explain the feelings that flooded me, but I knew I liked it - it felt silly, fragile, and good. I felt like I could gaze at him for just a minute and discover a thousand things to love about him. My eyes lingered on the canvas, my voice barely above a whisper. "And yes, if this is love, then it is love. I truly accept it... Yes, I love you."
A smile spread across my face as I gazed at the canvas, my heart filled with a sense of destiny. "And this painting will definitely be completed one day." I whispered, my eyes still locked on the drawing. "If you are my destiny, then our paths will definitely cross again." With a contented sigh, I stood up, leaving the canvas as it was, a testament to the inexplicable connection I felt.
"Tae, you stand here, if something goes wrong, I'll call you," I said, trying to stifle a yawn. Jungkook rubbed his eyes, still yawning. "Why did you bring me here so late at night?" he asked, his voice laced with sleepiness.
