I was in the shop doing my last bit of things. After doing about 7 heads today, I was so tired and ready to go home, shower and sleep.
I had everything locked up, I just needa clean and sweep up this hair before I dip.
My phone started ringing as I was sweeping and I seen it was Trevante.
I answered it on the second ring and said "Hello?"
"Aye man, when you coming home" He said and I laughed.
His place is still getting fumigated and remodeled so, he's still at my house. It's only been three days now.
"I'm actually sweeping up right now and getting the shop cleaned up. Then I'll be on my way. How's Ivory?" I asked.
"She's good I ordered a pizza for the house so she eating right now. I put on Wizards of waverly place since you said that's her shit" He said and I laughed.
"Mhm, she be glued to the TV when I put that on" I said.
"Yeah she is. You was definitely right about that. But uh.. I think we should talk about what happened the other night with us." He said.
I sighed a little.
"Yeah.. I agree. We'll talk about it when I get home okay?" I said.
"Sounds good to me.." He said and I smiled a little.
"I love you." Trevante added and my eyes widened a bit. I mean, I know he loves me but I hope he doesn't think I'm gone say it back right now.
I do love him and he knows this, it's just.. All this is a lot to unpack and I'm still tryna figure it out.
Somebody started knocking on the front of my shop door since it was locked, and I looked seeing Sienna and I rose my eyebrows.
"I uh- I gotta go okay? Somebody's at the front, I'll be home in about an hour tops. Aight?" I said to Trevante.
"Aight bet" He said before we both hung up the phone, and I walked to the front and unlocked the door, letting Sienna in.
"Janet- Look, I waited a minute to come talk to you because I thought you would be upset. I did not mean to spill the beans about your miscarriage to Trevante. I was just mad because he came to my house trippin and tryna ruin my relationship with my boyfriend and-"
"Sienna, Sienna calm down. I'm not mad" I said laughing because she talking all fast and shit.
She took a deep breath and started laughing too before holding her chest.
"I just felt like I owed you an apology for that. Because I know that's something you told me in confidence and the moment I got upset, I told him but it was basically to set him straight. Because he be acting like he's God gift to earth when he ruined people along the way." She said.
