"Now where you taking me and my kids Trevante" I said and he laughed a little saying "Just relax"
It was a Saturday night and Trevante asked if he could take all of us out to eat. Just to celebrate having a new born and get some time out as a family.
We ate at Mastro's Steakhouse, and now I could tell we weren't going straight home from the detour he took.
"I don't want this night to be over yet" Trevante said.
"Me neither I just wanna know where we going" I said and he laughed.
"Just relax" He said rubbing my knee with his right hand while the left was on the wheel.
I looked back and seen Ivory playing on her Nintendo while Jr was sound asleep in his car seat.
Trevante pulled up to the hill we used to go to all the time the first time around in our relationship, and I smiled.
"Aww babe" I said.
"We gone chill here for a bit" He said with a smile and I returned it while rubbing on his chin.
"Daddy what are we supposed to do?" Ivory asked.
"We gone set out the blankets and just eat the snacks we brought and relax" Trevante said to her.
"Can I still play my Nintendo?" She asked.
"Mhm" He said.
"Okay, then I'm good with that" She said and we all laughed. Not her thinking she grown.
Trevante turned the car off and we all got out, I went to the backseat to get Jr. I unlocked the seat belt and grabbed him from the car seat, holding him.
"He's still sleep" I said chuckling.
"You would think he works an eight hour shift" Trevante said and I laughed.
"All new born babies sleep like that" I said as we walked further up the hill and Trevante set out the blankets.
"Ugh oh my gosh I keep losing" Ivory said sitting down on the blanket.
"What game you playing baby?" I asked her as I carefully sat down too, while holding Jr.
