"I'm gonna prescribe you with some little antibiotics for your allergies okay?" The doctor said as she walked back in the office.
Had an appointment today.
"Okay, sounds good" I said.
"Won't hurt the baby, no worries." The doctor said.
"My daughter is 5, I'm not breastfeeding or nothing" I said chuckling.
"No, no. I'm referring to the child you're carrying" The doctor said.
My eyes widened.
"You didn't know?" The doctor asked.
"I'm pregnant?" I said in shock.
"Yes" He said laughing.
"Are you sure?" I asked.
"Absolutely, I'm looking at your blood work. You're two months. Mistakes do happen though but let me ask you this, when was your last period?" He asked me.
I then thought about it.
"Two monthe ago.." I said.
"See" The doctor said chuckling.
"I guess you're right" I said with a smile as I put my hand on my stomach.
"I'm gonna let you get your meds and get out of here so you can share the news with your man." The doctor said.
"Okay thank you!" I said.

TREVANTE POV
"Babe?" I heard Janet say as she walked in the house.
I walked to the front door and seen her, giving her a kiss. "Hey babe" I said before kissing her forehead.
"Is that food I smell?" She asked.
"Mhm. Thought I'd surprise you." I said.
"Oooh. Seems like it's a good day for those" Janet said chuckling as I sat down on the couch and she sat on my lap.
"What do you mean?" I asked.
"Well.. You know I had a doctor's appointment today" She said.
"Mhm" I said.
"I'm pregnant." She said and I rose my eyebrows before smiling.
"Word?" I said.
"Word" She said giggling. I hugged her tightly saying "Bout time, I been tryna give you another baby!"
"I know" She said laughing as I placed multiple kisses on her lips over and over.
"Mmmm" She moaned in the kiss. "We gotta tell Ivory she gone be a big sister" I said.
"Yep. When we pick her up from class" Janet said.
Ivory's in kindergarten now.
"When do we find out if it's a boy or a girl?" I asked.
"I think in my second trimester. I'm not sure because the first time around, you wanted to be surprised so we waited until I gave birth" Janet said.
"Yep, we can have a gender reveal this time and shit, it'll be dope" I said. "I'm hoping for a boy this time" I added.
"Mhm me too. One girl, one boy and we good" Janet said.
"Now I gotta tell my mama, our family, allat" I said and she laughed saying "It's so cute that you're so excited"
"Hell yeah I'm excited" I said.
I been wanting another baby with Janet, wanting to expand our family.
Want us to have what we didn't get to have growing up.
"Lemme finish this food before I burn it" I said chuckling and she got off my lap. "What'd you make?" She asked.
"Seafood boil" I said.
"Ooooh my mouth is watering just thinking bout it!" She said and I laughed at how she said it. Janet's from Louisiana like me so her accent comes out here and there, and it's hilarious.
"Come on" I said.

"It's so crazy because I didn't get no symptoms this time and I'm almost on the second trimester already. When I was pregnant with Ivory remember I was throwing up and all" Janet said as we were laying in the bed and cuddled up together.
"Mhm I remember" I said intertwining our fingers.
"But I'm glad I didn't get them type of symptoms this time. But chile if I didn't go to the doctor I wouldn't have known I was even pregnant. I would've found out cause my stomach would be getting big" She said and we both laughed.
"That would've been funny" I said laughing and she nudged me saying "Shut up" as she giggled.
"I wanna continue to grow and be better for our family baby. I really do" I said.
"And you are. You're doing more than that" Janet said. I kissed her forehead and said "Thank you. You always encouraging me when I'm losing my way."
"That's my job. And you're not losing your way Trevante, you're just concerned for yourself. And there's nothing wrong with that. Just don't let them intrusive thoughts win. You gotta keep striving, you hear me?" She said.
"Of course. You sound like my mama" I said and we both laughed.
"Cause we know you so well." Janet said grabbing my beard. I leaned in and gave her a kiss.
"I trapped you again" I joked and she laughed so hard saying "You sure did, thinking you slick. But I allowed you to trap me"
"Mhm, you ain't going no mothafuckin where" I said wrapping one of her legs around me. "Oh wherever I go, you go with me" Janet said leaning in.
"Oooh I like that" I said as we started kissing and I rubbed my hands all over her. I rolled us over so I was on top and got in between her legs.
"I love you lil mama" I said in between kisses.
"I love you more" Janet said back as she held onto me and hugged me.
