"Your 24 hours are up Trevante" Somebody said and I looked seeing it was that same fed that's been harassing me for about a month now.
About Mickie. Ever since she's been locked up, this fed has been trying to get me to snitch on her about everything else she's done with the scheme we did together. He has no idea I was involved with it.
But he wants to keep Mickie in prison and I refuse to snitch.
I haven't told Janet because I don't want her to worry and get mad at me all over again for doing the scheme with Mickie. Plus she's pregnant, she doesn't need the stress.
"Man can't you just leave me outta this?" I said. "I'll take my family and leave California if I have to, just leave me out of this" I added.
"It's too late for that now Trevante. I know that you have been trying to stay on the straight and narrow, I know you haven't been in any trouble in years, and that's a very good thing." He said.
"Then why you all over me?!" I said.
"It's not about you. It's about Mikayla Waters. We're both pawn in a very big game. It's gonna be you or Mikayla, it's your choice Trevante." He said.
"Man what did she do to make you want her so bad?" I asked.
"You know that feeling you get when you watch television? And the news reporter comes out and says there's been a terrible crime committed, and you hold your breath and then you pray that it ain't somebody you know. Cause you know if it is, in someway, you're gonna have to deal with it personally" He said.
"What does that have to do with Mikayla?" I asked.
He chuckled and said "Trevante, I'm just tired of dealing with them kind of bitches. And whether believe it or not, Mikayla is heading down that road. So we gotta nip them in the bud. So what you gone do? You gone do the right thing or what?"
"I don't know what you want me to do." I said.
"I know it's hard for you." He said laughing.
"Whatever man." I said.
"I'll be around, Trevante. So I'll see you soon." He said before walking off and I rubbed my face mumbling "Fuck" under my breath.

"Here you go baby" I said to Ivory as I sat her plate of food down on the table. She said "Thank you mommy"
"You're welcome" I said before kissing her cheek and I went into the living room, sitting down on the couch and taking a deep breath while holding my stomach.
My stomach was getting big and hanging low. They always say you carry low when you're having a boy, and I guess it's true.
My phone started ringing, and I grabbed it seeing it was Mack Wilds, which is one of Trevante's co-stars in this upcoming movie they're doing.
