"I damn near lost my mind seeing you involved with someone else." I said and she looked at me.
Then she took a deep breath.
"Is that so." She said.
"Yes. Just the thought makes me sick, of another nigga calling you baby." I said and she just looked at me.
"And if, you ever decide to give me another chance, I'ma make sure you feel all my love, from the top of your head, to the soles of your feet. I promise you." I said looking in her eyes.
She slightly bit her lip as she looked at me right back, no words. Just listening.
"I'll treat you like poetry, because we really love jones. For real. If we still in love then let's do it right this time, and may God bless us baby." I said to her.
She slowly crossed her legs as she took another deep breath.
"Because I'm still in love with you Janet." I said to her.
"And I'm still in love with you Trevante." She FINALLY admitted.
It's something I always knew but I always wanted to hear her say it.
I smiled because that just made a nigga's night.
"And I never stopped loving you. I told you that. You always gave me something deeper than my eyes could see, or my hands could touch. That's how I knew." Janet said.
"Baby girl I'm sorry for hurting your heart, for real." I said.
"I hear you." She said.
"But I need you to feel me and believe me when I tell you I'm genuinely remorseful and apologetic for how everything went down in the past up until now. My love won't always be perfect, but I'll usher you in the right directions if you let me. Love you without possession, whatever you need. I got it this time. I'ma make it right." I said.
"Wow, you just saying all the right things tonight." She said chuckling as she looked over at me.
"For years I been trying to find the right words, and now I got them. I guess it just took everything that went down for me to be able to identify them." I said.
"I just want you to stop looking for shit in the distance and let it grow under your feet. Cause it's always been right there Trevante. Always." Janet said.
"You right." I said as I scooted closer to her.
"I need you." I said to Janet.
"I don't want you to just be saying shit that you think is gonna pull me in-"
"I'm not." I said scrunching my eyebrows and she just looked at me.
"Janet baby, all this shit is from the heart. I know I fucked up the first time and that's why you are hesitant and closed off, but if I'm lying then I'm flying. I'm for real, you the girl of my dreams. The love of my life." I said to her.
She looked at me for a second before grabbing my chin, then she caressed the side of my face.
"Oh wait, I got something for you" I said to her.
"You what? Trevante you've done enough for me today and I-"
"Shhhhhhhhh" I said and she laughed. I dug in my pocket and pulled out the little box, and I opened it in front of her revealing the pearl necklace and her jaw dropped.
"This is beautiful.." She said.
"You like it?" I asked.
"I love it.." She said and I smiled as I started putting it around her neck for her and she blushed. "Oh my gosh" She said touching it.
"This is so pretty" She said as she poked her bottom lip out and I could tell she was getting emotional but holding it back. "Thank you so much" She said so sweetly as she gave me a hug, I smiled and said "Of course, of course." As I hugged her back.
I put my forehead against hers and I could tell she was nervous about this whole thing. Reassurance is what she needs and I'll be sure to give that to her.
"I got us this time, for real." I said to her.
She nodded her head, and said "I know."
I leaned in slowly and we kissed, and she held the sides of my face as we both deepened the kiss at the same time.
I wrapped my arms around her as we made out, and I slid my tongue in her mouth. She sucked on it while moaning a little saying "I love you" in between kisses.
"I love you more" I said back as I caressed her body gently, and I pulled away from the kiss, kissing along her jawline.
She held the back of my head while I was doing that, and she said "Don't start"
"What" I said chuckling as I kissed on her neck.
"You know all my spots that get this pussy wet" She said.
"I sure do" I said kissing her collarbone.
"Trevanteeee" She dragged out as she giggled.
"You love it, shut up" I said and she laughed as she wrapped her arms around my neck.
We kissed each other multiple times, over and over and she wiped her lip gloss off my lips as she pulled away.
"Okay- We should get up outta here, this fire ain't helping. I'm still cold" She said chuckling as she stood up.
I stood up too and said "I agree. I could warm up in some other ways.." and she smiled saying "Is that right"
"Mhm" I said. Then I picked her up and she gasped before she laughed. "Oh gosh" She said.
"Lemme make love to you Janet.. The way I used to." I said and she blushed.
"You know you miss the way I talked you through it.." I said biting my lip, and she gave me a kiss.
"You so nasty.." Janet said.
"For you, yes" I said.
"And you right" She said.
"About?" I asked.
"Missing how you would talk me through it.." She said licking her lips as she tightened her legs around my waist.
"Okay so how bout we get in the car and fix that?" I said and she just looked at me.
I could tell she was contemplating.
"Make up for loss time.." I said lifting her up a bit more.
