It's been a long and harrowing three months for me.

The last time Savannah Gabrielle prepared me coffee and food was on my birthday. Since then, she turned a one-eighty and completely ignored me. I tried to reach out to her, pero hindi na niya sinasagot ang messages ko. My phone calls couldn't get through either. Mukhang naka-block na ako sa kanya.

It didn't help that we became busy again with college. I had to ask Yco of her whereabouts. He said she was fine at busy lang talaga siya lalo na't graduating na siya.

Yun nga lang, nandito pa raw yung asungot na yun, and by 'asungot' I meant her ex. Just hearing that bastard's name really pisses me off. I hate that he now has the upper hand in winning Sage's heart, but I still refuse to give up.

It was a Friday evening when I unexpectedly saw her here at The Turf. Finally!

Even in her simple loungewear and a pair of eyeglasses on her face, she's still lovely in my eyes. If it were entirely up to me, I would have hugged and kissed her right here. Damn, I missed her so much!

"Okay lang yan, Jaycee," I heard Sage. "Basta punta ka na lang sa bahay bukas, around afternoon. Andun na kami ni Dara by then. At para hindi ka gabihin ng uwi ano."

It occurred to me that I never got to visit Sage's home... or perhaps I did when I was little, back when Sage and I were playmates. I still don't remember our childhood together, and I'm hopeful to recall those memories soon.

"Sige, ipagluluto kita bukas, Jaycee. Basta alam kong lutuin, go. What do you want?"

I felt that pinch inside of me when I heard Sage happily saying that. Dati, ako ang pinagluluto niya. Ngayon, iba na.

Sensing that there was no chance that Sage would want to talk to me, I just turned around and walked back inside, heaving a sigh of disappointment.

I came home to my parents to spend the weekend, as usual.

The rest of my family finally learned about my ordeal with Sage. I could no longer hide it from them, especially my mother. If anything, they've been understanding towards me and were hoping that I'll finally be happy again.

Out of nowhere, I just blurted out, "Please tell me about Sage's family. I want to know more about them, lalo na siya."
