Invisible String - Gabrielle Lucas Series Book 1
Savannah Gabrielle Gonzales Lucas was poised to take over her family's business when her father retires. She was preparing for her Masters when she unexpectedly crossed paths with Sebastian Kairos Yva...
My vision was so blurry that I couldn't see clearly. I couldn't move, but I also felt... pain.
Then I heard her whimper. She kept saying my name like a fervent prayer.
My girl, my love, my Savannah.
"Please don't go, Kairos." She choked a sob. "Wag mo akong iwan."

And for the life of me, I don't want to let go either. I will put up a fight because I still believe that Sage and I have a bright future ahead of us.
One day, we will get married and have children. Because I don't have a sister myself, I want to have at least two daughters. We will watch our little girls grow and become the best of friends.
Sage and I will grow old together. Even when we become gray and endure body pains, we will keep dancing like we did at that party at The Turf. We will keep visiting our favorite beach cove, just the two of us creating more memories in our little paradise.
Lastly, if fate will let us, Sage and I will die in our frail, old age; together at the same time; breathing our last while in each other's loving arms.
But for now... I have to fight, for myself, for her, and for both of us.
The thing is, I could no longer hear her voice. There was silence all over and darkness enveloped me.

I opened my eyes and found myself in a different place. Somewhere familiar, yet comfortable. I looked around and realized I was at the Lucas home, particularly in their grand living room. I caught my reflection in the mirror and saw myself as a little boy, probably six or seven years old.
It was a bright day and sunlight flooded the room, but for some reason, I was the only person standing in there. My gaze averted and then realized I wasn't alone after all as I saw a little girl standing right next to a small crib. At first, I couldn't see her face, so I stepped closer to her and finally got her attention.
