A small study in the White Tower tucked away from the prying eyes, served as the clandestine venue for Siuan to write her letter. In the dim glow of a solitary lamp, Siuan, seated at a polished marble desk, carefully penned her thoughts on a sheet of pristine parchment.
Dear Moiraine,
I trust this letter finds you in good health and under the watchful guidance of the Light. I find myself reaching out to you with a heavy heart, burdened by the weight of dreams and visions that have haunted my nights since your departure.
It is an inexplicable feeling, Moiraine, one that I struggle to put into words. I sense Elara's presence, a lingering essence that refuses to dissipate into the currents of the Pattern. There are moments when I believe she is not entirely gone, as if a thread of her existence is still intertwined with ours.
The Room of the Arches holds secrets, Moiraine, and during one of my solitary visits, I stumbled upon a disturbing sight. A puddle of blood, a trail leading from the arches, as though someone had attempted to follow a path not meant for mortal feet. Elara's name echoed in my mind, and a profound sense of foreboding settled upon me.
In my study, as I pored over maps detailing the intricate network of waygates, I discovered signs of tampering. Some had been examined, others taken. It leads me to believe that Elara, in her yearning to be with you, ventured into the unknown, chasing after the path you tread to the Eye of the World.
My nights are restless, filled with dreams that offer both solace and despair. In one, I saw her lying still on a beach, the ebb and flow of waves caressing the shore. A hand reached out to her, offering a connection beyond the confines of dreams. Yet, in another, she was confined within a room adorned with seals of the Forsaken, a place that whispered of danger and captivity.
Oh, Moiraine, I had hoped these dreams were the gentle embrace of the Light, a sign that she had found peace. Instead, they hint at peril, shadows lurking around her essence.
Have you heard anything of the Such, Moiraine? My heart aches for news, for a glimmer of hope, and I cling to the belief that Elara's journey is not yet concluded.
May the Light guide and protect you, and may it illuminate the path that Elara now walks.
Yours in both hope and love,
Siuan Sanche
As Siuan sealed the letter, she couldn't shake the feeling that the threads of destiny were interwoven with those of Elara. The bond between the two was a beacon in the ever-darkening tapestry of their world.

As Moiraine read Siuan's response, a sense of camaraderie transcended the written words, bridging the physical and metaphysical distances that separated them. In the face of loss and uncertainty, their bond, forged in the crucible of time, remained unbroken.
Dearest Siuan,
Your letter, like a beacon in the darkness, found its way to me. In these times of uncertainty, the weight of your words adds both solace and concern to my heart. I write to you with the love that only a mother can bear, understanding the depths of your anguish.
Oh, Siuan, I wish I could offer you reassurance, tell you that Elara is safe and sound. But the truth that weighs heavily upon me is that I have heard nothing. The shadows cloak her fate, and the whispers of the Pattern have not reached my ears. I would give all I possess to ease the pain that clings to your heart, my love.
I understand the yearning for hope, the desire to believe that Elara's spirit persists in some form beyond our understanding. The bond we share with her, as mothers, transcends the boundaries of the ordinary. It is an ache that pierces the soul, and I stand with you in the face of this cruel uncertainty.
But for now, let me bear the weight of this revelation alone. I do not wish to add to the burdens you already carry. In the realm of grief, we navigate treacherous waters, and I extend my hand to you, offering whatever comfort and support my meager words can provide.
May the Light grant us strength and guide us through these shadows. We stand united in love and shared sorrow.
Yours, now and always,
Moiraine Damodred
Moiraine, upon receiving Siuan's letter, felt a mix of hope and trepidation. The words were etched with concern, and she couldn't help but worry for Elara, as she contemplated her response. Moiraine felt no need to worry Siuan further by telling her the truth of what truly happened to Elara in the eye of the world. She thought it best to leave Siuan with the memory of Elara leaving the living world through the arches. To give her peace of mind. In truth nightmares haunt Moiraine's dreams, each one a relentless replay of Elara's departure from this world. She relives the moment her neck snapped, the life draining from her body, and the inevitable fall to the unforgiving ground.
