In the opulent chamber of the Sun Palace, Siuan stood waiting, flanked by Leane Sharif and Tower guards. The air held a tension only matched by the intricate politics of Cairhien. Moiraine entered, a graceful curtsy marking her acknowledgment.

"Mother," Moiraine uttered.

Siuan's command cut through the room.

"Leave us, Daughter. She's no threat to me."

Leane cast a reassuring look at Siuan before exiting with the guards, the door sealing the room in a cocoon of secrecy.

"Why didn't you tell me? Why didn't you tell me you'd been stilled? Six months of letters, Moiraine. And not one word about this... this violation," Siuan's voice held a mix of hurt and anger, emotions that danced in the depths of her eyes. Moiraine's gaze flickered away, and tears threatened to betray the stoic facade they both wore.

Moiraine met Siuan's gaze, her eyes reflecting a cascade of emotions. "I thought it would protect you. Shield you from the pain I knew you'd feel."

Siuan's expression softened. "Protect me? Moiraine, we swore oaths to share our lives, our burdens. You should have trusted me with this."

"What else did Lan tell you?" Moiraine's voice carried a cold tone.

"That Elara was with you at the Eye of The World and she died at the hands of Ishamael," Siuan replied, her voice laden with disbelief. Moiraine's eyes, clouded with memories and pain, avoided Siuan's piercing gaze.

Moiraine sighed, a mixture of relief and regret hanging in the air. "I didn't want you to carry the weight of my failure and losing Elara... I couldn't bear the thought of you sharing that burden."

Siuan's gaze intensified, her silence a damning confirmation.

"Anything else?" Moiraine asked, her tone betraying the weight of hidden truths.

"You threatened to let Alanna take his bond without his permission. You know he told her. That you found the Dragon," Siuan's words laid bare the complexities they had both navigated.
