Please read the previous chapter (chapter 10) once and return to this one, as I have added a few scenes after it was published.
Happy reading!

Waiting is hard, but a song has taken me away
Taken away from the loneliness I feel without her
The future is uncertain but thoughts of her keep me company
In my heart, I know we'll be together one day

Authors POV

"Now the groom and his friends are ready to show off their moves. Are girls ready to drool over their looks?" The host asked playfully on the mic.

Ekansh scoffed at the host's remark, but Aarthi, who had hopes of seeing him dance, shouted enthusiastically without realising that he wasn't actually dancing.

With their backs to the audience and the lights down, the boys began dancing.

Aarthi scowled as they turned to face the crowd, not finding the person she had been searching for.

When she turned to look around, she saw that he and Gautham's parents were watching the performance from the front row.

She didn't understand why he didn't join them. Is she sad that he didn't join? Yes. Is she going to do something about it? No.

The boys danced for about 6 and a half minutes with loud cheers from the audience, while Aarthi, Aarya, and Raj teased Gayatri all along. Gayatri was a blushing mess throughout the performance, especially when Gautham winked at her.

At the end, Gautham collapsed to the ground, and Gayatri was pushed on stage to lift him up, and Gautham took the opportunity to peck her on the cheek. All their friends hooted in the background.

The host began, "Okay guys, it's time for the most anticipated dance, the couple dance," to wild applause from the crowd.

Ekansh POV

These idiots gave a fantastic performance. They seemed far more serious than I had imagined. All eyes are focused on the dance, nevertheless, but mine have always been on her.

I simply cannot look away when she is around. I would surely be perceived as a pervert if someone saw me staring at her in this way. Are you not already? My subconscious smirked. I must search online for a way to get rid of this stupid subconscious of mine.

"So now its time for another performance; however, I wasn't told who exactly would be performing, so let's have fun watching it together." It was announced by the host.

I think its these idiots and Aaru's performance time. I can't wait to see her dancing flauntlessly

Three of them started the dance for Gallan Goodiyaan, with Aarthi in the middle and these two idiots on either side.

Just a sec, did Pranav really just touch her? And Gautham got to have her hands on him? How could they? And I don't. Because the Almighty doesn't dance. Ugghhh, fuck this subconscious.

Without a doubt, I'm going to slaughter them. Ask me why.
1. Pranav kept his hands on her.
2. Gautham got to have her hands on his shoulder
3. For failing to notify me in advance that they planned to dance with her.
