Aarthi POV:

Taking breakfast from the kitchen, I told mom, "Amma, I am leaving tonight for Hyderabad. I have given all necessary instructions to the boutique aunty. Just make sure you bring them while you are coming."

"All right. Did you pack everything you needed? If not, make sure you double-check your packing afterward. Don't contact me from there to tell me you forgot something." She answered in her so-called normal principal tone.

As I heard her, I rolled my eyes and gave a slight nod.

I mean, I love my parents, and they love me, but it's hard to be a single child with two busy working parents. They never gave me anything I wanted, but they always gave me everything I could possibly need.

I understand that people may view me as self-centered, but all I ever wanted was some quality time with my family. Nothing more.

I yearned to experience their love as they engaged in hobbies, took quick vacations, and had fun talks.

My mother was constantly preoccupied with college; we didn't have a particularly romantic relationship. I don't think she's even aware of my mobile number. It's only a mother-daughter relationship.

She truly did her best for me in everything, though, and she was never present. I understand her and never complain about it.

I'm incredibly close to my dad; he's like a long-lost sibling. We bicker, squabble, and complain. Only when he's free, though. Like Amma, he is quite busy, although he does occasionally spend time with me.

The first male was truly fond of me. I love both of them; how can I not? They are my parents.

I've been single my entire life and have never considered dating since I am in team-arranged marriages. My parents are my motivation for this because they are very supportive of and in love with one another.

Dancing is my favorite pastime. When I'm having a bad day, I dance; when I'm happy, I dance; and when I'm sad, I dance. I also love to read because it's a great way to escape reality, and the fictional men are so tempting.

Alright, enough about me. Let's resume packing, as there is a lot. God knows how I am going to pack all this!!

Ekansh POV:

I'm working on a project that was supposed to be finished by next month while sitting in my cabin. I need to do it by next week so I can attend my idiot best friend's wedding without starting a world war.

Everything is working pretty well; with a little more work, I could finish it in the next five days and attend the wedding two weeks early with Pranav. The stupid groom would be overjoyed.

Pranav suddenly stormed into my cabin, and, well, his expression is not nice. "We encountered a bug in the code," he stated. Just what I feared. Now I need to sacrifice my sleep.

-------Time skip-------

Finally, Ouch! I groaned as I stretched and noticed that it was three in the morning. I need to go back to bed since my back is hurting so much from working nonstop on that dumb desk for six hours.

My stomach groaned as I closed the laptop, reminding me that I hadn't eaten since morning. The refrigerator contained nothing but water and rotting veggies when I idly made my way to the kitchen.

I opened every cabinet in the hopes of finding a box of cereal or at least a Maggi. I had no idea that this fool Pranav was capable of eating so much food—the entire house is barren of any signs of food.

After what seemed like hours, I came across a Unibic packet. Without thinking twice, I tore it open and began eating since I was starving and had not had enough sleep. As I chewed on each cookie, I felt as though my life was beginning to live up.

Tomorrow, because I've already completed my work, I'm going to sleep for an extra hour before heading to the office. I don't want to appear drowsy in front of my clients.

Okay, good night! No more disturbances!
