Through laughter's dance and tears that fall,
Love's presence stands, unwavering tall.
A beacon of hope, a guiding star,
Illuminating paths, near and far.

Ekansh POV

Today was the day of the Satyanarayana Vratam, an auspicious ceremony that would mark the first morning of our married life together.

I woke up early, filled with a blend of excitement and anticipation. As I sat up in bed, I glanced at my phone, debating whether to message Aarthi.

Just because she's in the room next to mine doesn't mean I can simply barge in to say hi or good morning.

Just I was about to text her I was called to get ready. I was called out to get ready.

The house was already buzzing with activity. Amma and Aunty were busy in the kitchen, preparing the prasadam and other offerings for the Vratam.

The aroma of freshly made sweets and savory dishes filled the air, making my mouth water. I walked into the kitchen to see if they needed any help.

"Good morning, Amma! Good morning, Atha! Need any help?" I asked mom and my aunt, stepping into the bustling kitchen.

Amma looked up and smiled. "Good morning, Ekansh! Just make sure everything is set up in the hall. We don't want any last-minute surprises."

"Will do, Amma," I replied, grabbing a glass of water along with one poornam headed towards the hall.

As I walked through the hallway, I ran into Gautham and Pranav, my closest friends. They were busy setting up the decorations and making sure everything was in place for the Vratam.

"Hey, look who's finally awake!" Gautham teased, giving me a playful shove.

"Yeah, yeah. Good morning to you too," I retorted, grinning. "Everything set up here?"

"Ha...ha... we're there na to set everything perfect for you, you just lay back on your bed and enjoy sweets." Gautham spat, I guess he's missing his wife.

Pranav nodded, adjusting a garland of flowers. "Almost. Just a few finishing touches left. How are you feeling, married man?"

"Don't start with it again," I said. "But mostly, I'm tired and happy. It's been a whirlwind couple of days."

"Well, you should be. You're a married man now!" Gautham said, clapping me on the back.

We continued setting up the decorations, chatting and laughing. As we finished, I saw Aarthi walk into the hall, looking radiant in a beautiful saree.

Her hair was left loose, and her face glowed with happiness. No heavy jewelry simple yet elegant. My heart swelled with love and pride.

"Aarthi, you look stunning," Pranav said, while I was unable to take my eyes off her.
